A new podcast from the Great Lakes Annual conference, Kingdom Ripples, just dropped the first discussion. Our Conference Superintendent, Rev. Scott Pattison along with Rev. Kara Bussabarger, Director of Equipping for the conference, sit down to discuss the culture statement for the conference.

You can listen to the conversation at this link on Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/episode/10Jvdn9S8qSbxz9U8FLu6i?si=qNUJKRB8Tf6uOTDsAVBj2Q&utm_source=copy-link) or you can like from the Shoreline Newsletter, or on the Great Lakes Annual Conference YouTube channel (https://youtu.be/1K9icy7dzg8?is=sNy6-xM3RJ98veOO).

Sit back for a 20 minute or so break in your day to learning about what our culture is all about.

Sunday we had a fun back to school fellowship meal. The Sisters in Christ Bible Study group went all out to make it as much like a school hot lunch as they could. They got it a little wrong though. This lunch was delicious, not like most school hot lunches. They dressed the part, and recuited some men to do the dishes and dress the part. They even found the divided lunch trays. Everyone had a great time sharing a table by favorite school subject. Recess was missing and so was music/band/chours and art.

The old bus waiting for its makeover. It looks very different from the old look. But it’s going to look great when the move over is complete.

Glory to God!

A HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE GLOBAL METHODIST CHURCH ✨

With overwhelming support, the 2026 General Conference has OFFICIALLY ADOPTED the Articles of Faith, affirming our Wesleyan heritage and establishing a shared expression of the faith that unites us in Jesus Christ.

Together, these Articles speak to who we are, what we believe, and the faith we carry forward as one global connection.

May we hold fast to this faith, walk together in the power of the Holy Spirit, and faithfully proclaim Jesus Christ to a world in need of His grace. 🙏🌍

More details, including the full adopted language, will be released soon.
