and Sacraments. He created and continues to grow this congregation through the waters of Holy Baptism and sustains and strengthens His holy flock through the true proclamation of His Divine Word and the proper administration of His holy body and blood in the Lord's Supper. We invite you to join us and even compete in the 11th Annual Bingen Chili and Soup Cook-off in the St. John Bingen Parish Hall on Saturday, February 24. Bring your chili (or soup) or just bring your appetite and expert soup-tasting skills. If you are interested in entering the contest, be there by 5:00 with your soup and any fixings to complement your dish. Otherwise, join us at 5:30 to be a taster and judge. Fun prizes are at stake, along with the opportunity to get your name on the famous chili cook-off trophy. Lemonade and coffee will be provided along with sandwiches, desserts, and tableware. Kids are encouraged to attend and even compete in the cook-off. Hope to see you there!

Please join us for the annual Mission Festival Picnic in the grove this Sunday, September 10th, at noon! There will be a bounce house and some table seating available. Roasted smoked beef, potatoes, lemonade, and root beer floats will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Feel free to bring your own chairs, beverages, and table service. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors and we hope to see you there!
