BOC staff appreciation luncheon! We had a great time & great food. We had some that couldn't attend. We miss Pastor Joe being there giving his thank you to everyone BUT Sis Earlene handled it! Great prayer by Clarence Robinson.

With Heavy Hearts, We Share This News

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved pastor, Joe Simpson Jr, who went to be with the Lord on 11/27/24. Pastor Joe as we affectionedly called him. Served at Branches of Christ Ministries faithfully for 43 years, touching countless lives with his unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to the ministry.

Pastor Joe was not only a shepherd to our congregation but also a dear friend, counselor, and spiritual leader whose impact will be felt for generations to come.

We invite everyone to join us in honoring Pastor Joe’s legacy. Details about a celebration of his life will be shared in the coming days.

Please keep the Simpson family in your prayers during this difficult time. May we find comfort in knowing that Pastor Joe is now at peace in the presence of our Savior.

Many of you have probably seen my posts about my Papaw’s journey. I am coordinating a fundraiser to help continue his vision building the top of thier church. ⛪️

Branches of Christ will have an intercessory prayer service for Pastor Joe from 5:30pm-6:30pm Wednesday evening 10/2.
All other activities cancelled until next week.
