We celebrate fathers

In so many ways the world seeks the hearts and minds of our children. A Christian father who leads his family spiritually is a bulwark against the world’s indoctrination and the father of lies.

Raising up his children in the fear and instruction of the Lord, a Christian father fulfills a godly vocation in the service of his children and his works are pleasing to God.

More to be desired than gold is a father who reads the Bible to his children, teaches them to pray, and brings them to Christ by taking them to Church.

In a very anti family world the Church does well to be pro family, pro marriage, and pro fatherhood, as well as pro motherhood.

Let’s teach our young men that he who seeks to be a godly father seeks a noble vocation.
