The Archdiocese of Detroit has released the Round 2 Pastorate Draft Models (Model D and Model E) for our Planning Area (6). These models were developed through the model refinement process and have now been published for review.

We invite you to share any additional feedback on the Round 2 Pastorate Draft Models through the St. Alphonsus-St. Clement Feedback Form. The form may be completed online at https://www.stals-stclem.org/round-2-feedback or by using the paper copy in the bulletin insert this weekend. All feedback, whether submitted online or on paper, must be received no later than Tuesday, November 3. Our Key Parish Leaders will review your feedback before we submit one form to the archdiocese from our parish.
Please continue to keep in prayer the restructuring process and God's guidance. We are grateful for you and your dedication to our parish community.

Round two draft models were released on October 19, 2026.

The models for our parish can be viewed at:
https://restructuring.aod.org/planning-area-6

The next step is for Pastors and Key Parish Leaders to give additional feedback in the upcoming weeks. After further refinement, the final recommended models will be presented to the Archdiocesan Restructuring Commission and then to Archbishop Weisenburger for his discernment as he considers the future configuration of parishes across the Archdiocese.

Archbishop Weisenburger will enter a time of prayerful discernment, carefully considering the proposed parish models and the feedback received from clergy, parish leaders, and the lay faithful. After completing this discernment, he will announce the final restructuring models and priest assignments during the weekend of April 17-18, 2027.

In the alcove in the east transept of our church are statues of St. Margaret Mary of Alacoque with Jesus appearing to her as the Sacred Heart. St. Margaret Mary Alacoque is remembered as the “Apostle of the Sacred Heart” because of her role in making known one of the Church’s most beloved devotions to the loving Heart of Jesus. Her feast day is celebrated on October 16. Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, pray for us! More: https://ewtnmission.com/dailysaint/st-margaret-mary-alacoque/
