Be Aware of Scammers
Westminster staff will NEVER ASK YOU TO BUY GIFT CARDS AND FOR THE CODES ON THE BACK. This is a very common scam for phishing criminals to use because once they have the code off the back of the card, the money is gone. It’s then impossible to trace and impossible to retrieve. Then they’re off to scam their next victim.

Scammers have a wide variety of information from public records, social media, and information from data breaches. They might know your name, phone number, what church you go to, and what your favorite clubs and activities are. Using this information, they pretend to be someone you trust to either get personal information, access to your financial accounts, or con you into buying gift cards to strip of funds.

When in doubt, double-check strange requests through a safe method of communication.

Enjoy Your Sabbatical Richard!
We would like to inform the congregation that our beloved Senior Pastor and Head of Staff, The Reverend Dr. Richard Baker, will be taking a well-deserved sabbatical from Monday, June 8, until his return on Welcome Sunday, September 13. This time away will allow Reverend Baker an opportunity for writing, rest, and spiritual reflection.

In case you missed Elder Tori Statt's beautiful prayer on Sunday due to the microphone snafu, please enjoy, and pray along with us, as we send Richard off for a restful sabbatical.

"Gracious and loving God,

Today we give You thanks for Your servant, our pastor.
Thank You for the countless prayers offered, sermons prepared, visits made, burdens carried, and acts of compassion shared in Your name.

As this sabbatical begins, we ask that You grant Richard true rest — rest for body, mind, and soul. Quiet the noise of responsibility and restore what has been depleted through seasons of faithful ministry.

Give him freedom from worry and freedom from obligation. Let this be a season marked not by productivity, but by Your presence.

Bless Richard's family and loved ones during this time. Protect their health, strengthen their relationships, and fill their days with grace and delight.

And for this church, Lord, keep us united and faithful. Teach us to support one another well and to continue the work of ministry together.

We entrust this season to You with hope and thanksgiving, believing that the One who calls also sustains.

In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen."

Friday Summer Office Hours
June and July
8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
Starting in June and continuing through July, our office will be implementing a change in operating hours specifically on Fridays. We will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to better accommodate our staff and workflow during the warmer months. This adjustment will allow everyone to enjoy their weekends a little bit earlier, while still being able to take care of any necessary business. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide the best service possible.
