Maundy Thursday Service of Tenebrae
Thursday, April 2 | 7:00 pm

This service of shadows, darkness, and silence has become a meaningful tradition at Grove. Come experience the Tenebrae (Latin for “darkness”) and hear the strepitus—a dramatic sound at the close of the service, marking the moment of Christ’s death.

Childcare is available if needed, and children are welcome in the service.

NO SERVICE at GROVE this SUNDAY!

Friends, after careful consideration, it has been decided that worship will NOT be held at Grove this Sunday. Please stay home, stay warm, and stay safe.

During this Sunday apart, our prayer is that that you feel an invitation by the Holy Spirit to worship in a new way by using the bulletin at home. Celebrate the company and fellowship of those around you by reading or singing the hymns, listening to anthems online, or taking turns reading verses of the scripture readings. If you feel led, you could even share your thoughts on the scripture readings with one another and discuss how God is calling us to serve Him in the week ahead.

Blue Christmas Service
December 21, 2025 7:00 PM

Today, Dec 21 is the longest night of the year; Grove will be hosting a Blue Christmas Service at 7 pm for those who are not feeling the ho-ho-ho jolly of the Christmas season. Loss, pain, grief, difficult circumstances mean this a very hard time for many people. We invite you to join us for a service of hope, comfort and connection as we acknowledge these feelings, and we stand beside each other as we seek God's comfort and love. The service includes Scripture, Communion, music, poetry, words of comfort from our pastor, and candlelight.

Responsibilities include selection and preparation of choral pieces: weekly rehearsals (Wednesday evening) Sunday AM and special worship services. Salary commensurate with experience and ability.
