****UPDATE: WE HAVE ALL THE VOLUNTEERS WE NEED - THANK YOU!!!

We at St Mark's partner with the Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center to host Camp High Hopes each year. This is a day camp for children who are served by the Crisis Center. Most of these children have been unhoused for at least part of the year and this camp serves as a much needed reprieve from their daily reality.
St. Mark’s Fellowship hall serves as base camp for daily excursions and we as a congregation provide breakfast, snacks and water for each of the 5 days for about 15-20 children.
There are TWO ways to participate in this wonderful outreach!

1) We are in need of about 4 more volunteers to provide breakfast, 2 people on Thursday (6/18) and 2 people on Friday (6/19).
2) Alternatively if you would like to make a monetary donation to help offset the cost of camp ($100 per child) you are welcome to direct that to the Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center via Check, PayPal or Venmo.
Checks can be made payable to NWGAFCC and mailed to
PO Box 554
Dalton, GA 30722.

We invite you to join us this week as we gather in community to worship, pray, and fellowship together.

During this Sunday’s 10:30am service, we will hold a special recognition ceremony to honor our graduates. We want to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our high school students as they embark on their next chapters. Our honorees are: Charlie & Collier Andersen, Charlie & Will Beckler, Collier Brown, Bella Caggiano, Grace England, Izzie England, Asher Renfroe and George Ross.

Please join us in praying for them and blessing their future journeys.

We look forward to seeing you and your family this Sunday.
