📖 THIS WEEK’S SERMON

Draw Near to Jesus
📖 John 21:1–14

After the resurrection, the disciples returned to familiar waters.

They fished all night and caught nothing.

Then, from the shore, a familiar voice called to them.

In one moment, everything changed.

This Sunday we’ll consider:
• Christ’s pursuit of His disciples after the resurrection
• The futility of life apart from Jesus
• The abundant provision of the risen Lord
• The invitation to draw near and fellowship with Christ

The disciples discovered that even after failure, uncertainty, and weakness, Jesus had not abandoned them.

He was waiting for them.

“Come and have breakfast.”

Join us as we see the kindness, provision, and fellowship of the risen Christ, who still calls His people to draw near.

📖 THIS WEEK’S SERMON

The God-Man
📖 John 20:17

After His resurrection, Jesus spoke words that reveal one of the most profound truths in all of Scripture:

> “I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”

In a single statement, Jesus reveals both His unique relationship to the Father and His identification with His people.

This Sunday we’ll consider:
• The humanity of Christ after the resurrection
• The deity of Christ, the eternal Son of God
• Why Jesus is the perfect mediator between God and man
• What it means to be brought into God’s family through Him

Jesus is not merely God.
Jesus is not merely man.

He is the God-Man—
fully God and fully man,
our risen Savior and faithful mediator.

Join us as we explore one of the most glorious truths of the Christian faith and why it matters for our salvation.

📖 THIS WEEK’S SERMON

The Keys of the Kingdom
📖 John 20:21–23

After His resurrection, Jesus stood among His disciples and declared:

“Peace be with you.”

Then He commissioned them and entrusted them with the message of the Kingdom.

What are “the keys of the Kingdom”?
What authority did Christ give His church?
And what does this mean for us today?

This Sunday we’ll consider:
• Christ’s commission to His disciples
• The authority of the gospel message
• The church’s role in proclaiming forgiveness in Christ
• Why salvation is found in Jesus alone

The church does not create the gospel.
The church proclaims the gospel entrusted to her by the risen King.

Join us as we consider the authority, mission, and message of Christ’s Kingdom.

📖 THIS WEEK’S SERMON

That You May Believe
📖 John 20:30–31

Why was the Gospel of John written?

John gives us the answer plainly:

> “These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God…”

This Sunday we’ll consider:
• The purpose of John’s Gospel
• Why the signs of Jesus matter
• What true saving faith looks like
• How eternal life is found in Christ alone

The Gospel of John is not merely history to admire.
It is a call to believe.

John wrote so that sinners would see Christ, trust Christ, and have life in His name.

Will you believe?

Join us this Sunday as we behold the glory of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of sinners.

📖 THIS WEEK’S SERMON

From Secret Believer to Bold Disciple
📖 John 19:38–42

For years, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus followed Jesus quietly.

One feared the Jews.
The other came to Jesus by night.

But after the cross, everything changed.

This Sunday we’ll consider:
• The danger of hidden discipleship
• The fear of man versus the fear of God
• How the cross transforms timid believers into courageous followers
• What it truly means to publicly identify with Christ

When nearly everyone else fled, two once-secret disciples stepped into the light.

> “They took the body of Jesus…”

Will we remain silent followers…
or bold disciples of Christ?

Join us this Sunday as we see how the crucified Savior calls His people out of fear and into faithful devotion.
