Play is the language of children—It’s where they feel safe, seen, and loved, and children desperately desire their mom and dad to play with them.

It’s so important for parents to interact with their kids in their world and on their level. As parents, when we enter their world—blocks, dolls, forts, giggles—we’re not just passing time. We’re telling them: “You matter. I delight in you. I’m here.”

Children need their parents. They need us to make time. To be present. To enjoy them. Not just care for them—but have fun with them.

Let’s never be too busy for that.
