Jesus said if you won’t take up your cross and follow Him, you can’t be His disciple. The cross is where self dies. My will, my flesh, my pride must be crucified daily. The more we die to self, the more we grow in Christ. Do you hold a daily funeral for your flesh? Ask God to expose the hidden darkness and walk in the power of true resurrection life!

He grew up in the front pew. He served as a U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret. He was never arrested, never handcuffed, never behind bars.

📢 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨, 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about truth. When a leader speaks for Christianity, his words must line up with what Jesus said. Here are three places they don’t 👇
1️⃣ “𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡”
• Talarico compared faiths to languages describing one reality: Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity.
• Jesus said: “𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. 𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐞.” (John 14:6 NLT)
• Jesus isn’t one dialect among many. 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐲.
2️⃣ “𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲”
• Jesus taught us to pray “𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫” (Matt. 6:9) and called Himself the 𝐒𝐨𝐧 (John 3:16).
• God is Spirit (John 4:24), but that must never rewrite what He revealed: “𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦” (Gen. 1:27).
• We don’t define God. 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬.
3️⃣ “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧”
• God “𝐤𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐛” (Ps. 139:13).
• “𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮” (Jer. 1:5).
• John the Baptist 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐲 in the womb (Luke 1:41-44).
• Life in the womb is 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐝.
✝️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐝. 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝. We pray for James and every leader to be anchored in Christ, not culture. Love tells the truth, even when it costs something.
🙏 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧: Read John 14:6 today. Comment “TRUTH” if you stand on Scripture, and 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 with someone who needs clarity.
