We are excited and blessed to have Pastor Bryan Dodson joining our school family as our Traditional Direct Instruction Social Studies and Science Teacher for our middle school and high school students.

With more than 20 years of experience in Christian education and ministry, Pastor Bryan brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and a heart for serving students. Throughout his career, he has faithfully served in classroom instruction, school administration, and youth mentorship, impacting countless young lives through both education and ministry.

As Cross Creek Christian Academy transitions to a fully traditional, teacher-directed instructional model, we are thrilled to have an educator of Pastor Bryan's caliber leading our students in Social Studies and Science. His commitment to academic excellence, critical thinking, and biblical truth will provide our students with a strong foundation for both their educational journey and their walk with Christ.

Pastor Bryan is passionate about fostering academic growth while encouraging students to develop spiritual maturity and a deeper relationship with the Lord. His servant-hearted leadership, experience, and dedication to Christian education make him a wonderful addition to our team!

It's hard to believe that another school year has come to a close! As we reflect on our final week of fun, laughter, and excitement, our Field Day certainly stands out as a highlight. ☀️🎉

From the hilarious Granny Pants Race and Ice Cream Relay to giant Tic-Tac-Toe and the Soaking Sponge Relay, our students spent the day laughing, cheering one another on, and making wonderful memories together.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch, celebrated with a special ice cream party, and finished the day by awarding ribbons to our amazing students.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers whose servant hearts helped make this day so special. We are so grateful for each of you!

What a beautiful way to wrap up another blessed year at Cross Creek Christian Academy. ❤️

The CCCA Kindergarten students became Proud chick parents, engineers, construction workers and continuously growing readers and writers as they worked on a special Spring project 😊

This included:
Reading 📚
Writing ✍️
STEM 🏗
And a Variation of Home Economics 🐣🤍
ALL IN ONE!

They adopted (toy) chicks and were tasked with taking them home to take care of them. Not only did this include snuggles and play, but they also "fed" exercised, and read to their chicks.They learned about chicks and the chicken life cycle, they wrote about their chicks and finally, they got to build homes for their chicks! Seeing their excitement was such a joy.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Because of their selfless bravery, we are blessed with the freedoms, opportunities, and peace we enjoy each day. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a holiday — it is a time to reflect with grateful hearts on the lives that were given in service to others. We especially lift up the families of our fallen heroes, praying that God surrounds them with comfort, strength, and peace.

Today, we honor that incredible love and sacrifice.

May we never forget those who gave everything for our freedom. God bless our heroes, their families, and the United States of America. ❤️🤍💙

And just like that, it’s time for The Final Headline. 📰✨

The Cool Kids Chronicle is officially wrapping up for the year, and what a year it has been! These kids poured their hearts into this newspaper, bringing our school the news, stories, highlights, and encouragement all year long.

For this final edition, you’ll get to hear all about their year — written by them. I also had the chance to share a little piece of my heart and reflect on all the ways I saw God move in and through these kids this year.

When you have a moment, take time to read this one, celebrate these students, and cheer them on big because the Cool Kids absolutely deserve to be celebrated. 🩷

A HUGE thank you to everyone who supported Senior Jake Tarnowski’s Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser last Saturday! Whether you purchased a take-out meal or joined us for dinner and Jake’s presentation, your support and generosity helped make the evening a huge success!! 🍝

We are so grateful to our community for coming together to support this project, and we can’t wait to share the completion of the Gaga Pit with everyone soon!

Last week our Middle School students learned about creative writing… but with a twist.

It’s one thing to choose your own topic and characters for a story, but can you still write creatively when you can’t choose them yourself?

Each student painted a rock, and then we put all of the rocks into a bag. The students randomly picked three rocks and had to create a story using the characters/settings painted on them!

This challenged them to think outside the box, problem solve, and bring completely unexpected ideas to life. The creativity that came out of this activity was incredible!

When it comes to creative writing there is no “right” answer — just imagination, risk taking, and confidence in your ideas. The kids absolutely rose to the challenge! 🩷🎨🎨

The ✨ 6TH EDITION ✨ of the Cool Kids Chronicle has officially DROPPED and trust us… the newsroom was BUSY!

From student spotlights and chapel highlights to Eagles updates, God at Work moments, and all the fun in between, our CKC reporters absolutely understood the assignment this edition.

These kids have worked SO hard and poured so much creativity, teamwork, laughter, and personality into every page. We are one edition closer to the end of the year and the newsroom is still bringing the heat!
