Two Parishes
One Faith Community We began as a community of faith in the Back Mountain almost 100 years ago.

Our Lady of Victory Church was the first outpost of Catholicism in the Back Mountain in 1923. Our Lady of Victory would become a mission church of Gate of Heaven Church when it was opened over 25 years later. In 1969, both churches became separate parishes. Now we have been rejoined again as a faith community in 2013.

Please note at Gate of Heaven Church all the parking lots have been relined painted. There are additional handicap parking spots and directional arrows especially in the Spring Street lot. These new arrows are not for decoration but for a safer traffic flow pattern. Please when using that lot follow the arrows.

Although he was unable to attend due to health issues, Rev. Kevin Mulhern, was one of 12 priest Jubilarians honored at the Pontifical Mass today at St Peter’s Cathedral. Please pray for Fr. Kevin, the 5th Pastor of Gate of Heaven Parish, as he heals and for the 50 years of loving service he has given to all of us, the sheep of his flock.
