An estimated 3 billion people are living without access to the gospel. This means that for generations, families have remained trapped in darkness—without hope and peace. By equipping and mobilizing local leaders, Empower One church planters are taking the gospel back into their own neighborhoods and surrounding communities—where they’re better missionaries than we could ever be. It’s within this shared culture and language that the gospel is reaching people who never had the opportunity to choose Jesus.

This summer, First Baptist Church in Yambio hosted a football conference. ⚽

In the months since, doors have continually opened for the gospel: a nearby village once known for witchcraft now has a fellowship of 51 believers!

As the Church serves the community faithfully shares the gospel, God moves through His people.

Consistent ministry and service go deep, build roots, and yield fruit.
Long-term investment brings a long-term impact.

Praise God for how He is moving in Yambio!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with local churches in Kajo Keji, South Sudan to share the hope of Jesus!

A few weeks ago, this team from Fellowship Dallas traveled to serve through door-to-door evangelism, women’s conferences, and discipleship at local churches. We are thankful for the partnership that made this ministry possible.

We are rejoicing in the 51 people who professed faith in Christ during the trip! Every number represents a person, and every opportunity to share the Gospel is a reminder of why this work matters.

We are grateful for the team that answered the call to serve, and for the local leaders who continue to faithfully serve in these communities and follow up with those who heard the gospel.

Please continue to pray for the local church in South Sudan and for those who heard and responded to the Gospel. It is a gift to see what God is doing through the partnership of His Church around the world!

Last month, 28 churches around Kajo Keji sent missionaries around the region and into the refugee camps in Uganda for a mission week.

They preached, prayed, and showed the Jesus film.

268 people professed faith in Christ.
41 have been baptized.
1 new church was planted.

Here, the mission team is singing their praises for what God did over that week.

A team of four went to visit Salvation Baptist Church – the Flagship Church in Malakal – for the first time since 2024.

The team was received with the warmest welcome.
Together, the local church and visitors prayed, laughed, ate, and dreamed together.
They gathered to discuss leadership, family, and reconciliation.
They shared the gospel in surrounding neighborhoods.

It all culminated in eleven new believers being baptized into new life in Christ!

We love seeing these women's ministry leaders come together to learn, grow, and be encouraged in their ministry! 💛

These women are learning more about how to share God's love and God's Word with the next generation.

After the training this week, they'll return home to invest in the lives of children in their local churches. We’re so thankful for each of them and excited to see how God will use them! 🌱

“Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven.” — Matthew 5:11–12

At a recent youth conference in Malakal, South Sudan, this young man read from God’s Word as he studied Jesus’ teaching on persecution.

It’s encouraging to see the next generation engaging with Scripture, growing in their faith, and taking the Great Commission seriously.

Would you join us in praying for these young believers? Pray that they would continue to grow in their love for the Lord, stand firm in His Word, and boldly share the hope of the gospel with others.
