Park Cities Baptist Church

Park Cities Baptist Church Park Cities Baptist Church exists to lead all generations to love Jesus. All are welcome to join us for worship every Sunday in Dallas, TX!

Since 1939, we’ve been a Gospel-focused presence in our neighborhood, our community, and around the world. Park Cities Baptist Church is a diverse community of people who are being renewed by the love of Jesus, as we follow Him and point people to Him every day––all for the common good of our neighbors, our city, and the world. We are:
UNITED - We are one church family with one mission, regardless

of worship venue, age or gender. DEVOTED - We are committed to loving Jesus, each other, and our community. EQUIPPED - We are prepared to follow Jesus and point others to Him through every encounter. Our mission is the Great Commission.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
- Matthew 28:19-20

This message from Luke 11:5–13 invites us to approach God with expectant prayer, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. Through the parable of the persistent neighbor, Jesus teaches that prayer is not rooted in doubt or fear, but in confidence that our Heavenly Father hears and responds to His children.

Jesus encourages us to ask, seek, and knock with boldness, knowing that God delights in giving good gifts to those who come to Him. Prayer is not about manipulating God, but about growing in trust and dependence as we bring our needs before Him with expectation.

As followers of Christ, we are called to pray with hope-filled faith, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the outcome. This message reminds us that our Father is generous, attentive, and eager to draw near to His people.

Our church offices are closed today in honor of Memorial Day. We pray for those who have lost loved ones and honor those who sacrificed their lives to serve in our military.

We hope you’re spending this day with loved ones, and we’ll return to normal church office hours tomorrow! ❤️

This Sunday, we continue our People of Prayer series with a message from Luke 18:9–14 on dependent prayer. Through the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector, Jesus reveals that prayer is not about impressing God with our righteousness, but approaching Him with humility, honesty, and complete dependence on His grace.

In a world that celebrates self-sufficiency, Jesus invites us to recognize our deep need for Him. True prayer begins not with confidence in ourselves, but with surrender before God. As we come before Him with open hearts, we discover the freedom, mercy, and transformation that only His grace can bring.

Join us as we learn what it means to pray with humility and trust, resting not in our own goodness, but in the goodness of God.

On Sunday, we launched our 2025-2026 Impact Report — a collection of stories celebrating God’s goodness through his people. One of those stories is Sam’s.

Last summer, Sam began asking questions about baptism and what it means to follow Jesus. Months later, after continued conversations and prayer, he met again with his Kids Minister, Rebekah, ready to share that he knew he needed Jesus.

When invited to pray out loud, Sam admitted he was nervous. Quietly, he began writing on a piece of paper before finally reading these words aloud: “Dear God, I am not going to follow my path and my life. I want to follow you. I am going to give you my life. Amen.”

There were tears around the room as Sam’s simple and sincere prayer became a powerful reminder of childlike faith and the way God draws young hearts to himself.

This Mother’s Day message looks at the life of Eve to remind us that every person walks through seasons of purpose, failure, and hope. From Genesis 2–4, we see that God created us with intention, yet sin brought brokenness into the world. Even so, God’s grace continued to sustain His people through the promise of redemption.

Through Eve’s story, we are encouraged to remember that God uses imperfect people to accomplish His purposes. Our influence, faithfulness, and perseverance matter, even when we cannot fully see the impact. In every season — whether marked by clarity, struggle, waiting, or pain — God remains faithful to His promises.

Ultimately, this message points to Jesus, the promised Savior who defeats sin and death and brings new life. Because of Him, every season of life can become part of a greater story of redemption and hope.

This Sunday, we launch our 2025-2026 Impact Report: a collection of stories celebrating God’s goodness through his people.

One of those stories is unfolding every week in Dallas living rooms and backyards, where students gather to build friendships, open God’s Word and grow in their faith together.

The 12th-grade boys Crew started as a small group of friends, but quickly became a place where others felt known, welcomed and encouraged. Over the years, these students have grown into young men ready to live on mission as they step into college.

Recently, they visited a middle school Crew to share what God has taught them and encourage younger students navigating high school — a full-circle moment of disciples making disciples.

This is what God is doing through Crew: building community, growing disciples and raising up the next generation to lead others toward Jesus.
