It is November!
During this month, we pray for all holy souls in purgatory that they may one day enter the heavenly kingdom with our Lord.

Reminders:
Don’t forget that all CCD classes are collecting new children’s pajamas (any size) for our local Missions project. Have your student bring in pajamas by Sunday, November 23rd.

There will be no CCD on
Sunday, November 9th (Veterans Day) or Sunday, November 30th (Thanksgiving).

Advent will begin on Sunday, November 30th.

News regarding our Christmas Programs will be out soon. You won’t want to miss it!!

There will be a meeting for all parents of 8th graders of GOH & OLV who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Spring of 2026. The meeting will be held at Gate of Heaven in the Church at 6pm on Thursday, October 16th. At least one parent or family representative should attend. Students do not need to attend. We will go over all important information regarding the year long preparation for Confirmation.

There will be a meeting on Thursday, October 9th at 6pm at Our Lady of Victory for all parents of 2nd-grade students preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. The meeting is for parents only. Please use the Cry Room entrance and go to Parish Hall. This applies to both GOH and OLV classes.

Students in 6th – 8th grade for the 2023-2024 school year are welcome to join us on September 22–24 at Camp Orchard Hill in Dallas for a weekend of fun, faith, and new friends!

Up & Over is a peer-facilitated retreat that is designed to give participants the skills necessary to get “up and over” the challenges they may face.

Throughout the weekend students will spend time outdoors, meet new friends and learn how your God-given gifts can be used when you work with others as a team! Built into the weekend are opportunities for Mass and Reconciliation.

There will also be a number of fun activities and events, including a movie, free time and an outdoor obstacle course.
