Many people say, “That’s my church,” but only show up once or twice a year.
And I wonder… what makes something yours if you’re never present?

We understand this in every other area of life.
If you only came home to your spouse once or twice a year… that wouldn’t be a marriage.

If you showed up to work once or twice a year… you wouldn’t have a job.

If you only checked on your kids a couple times a year… that wouldn’t be parenting.

So we already know this:
anything you value requires your presence.

Real relationships don’t grow on occasional appearances.

They’re built on consistency, showing up, and staying connected.

So why would our relationship with the house of God be any different?

Yes, your relationship with God is personal.
But it was never meant to be private or disconnected.
There is something powerful about consistent, committed, corporate worship.
There is growth that only happens when you’re planted.

And if you’ve drifted, this is not condemnation, this is your invitation.
Come back. Get connected again. Be present. Be planted.
