Pastor Walker reminded us to “Watch The Invisible Traps!” Proverbs 1:10, and James 1:14

Temptation is often deceptive, disguised as something good or harmless. To resist it, we must keep God’s Word and wisdom close, establish our convictions early, surround ourselves with godly people, and rely on the Holy Spirit, not just our own willpower.

Powerful reminders from the message:

✨ “Yielding is a choice.”

✨ “The devil is only going to test you about stuff that you like.”

✨ “Temptation often is dressed up as a friend.”

“Who Do You Think You Are?!” — 2 Kings 11

We were reminded through Athaliah’s story just how dangerous ungodly connections can be. Athaliah thought she had destroyed the royal bloodline and secured her own power — but who did she think she was?

Did she really believe God was going to let her get away with that? Did she really think she could stop what God had already promised?

While Athaliah thought she was in control, God was already working behind the scenes. What she thought was finished, God had already preserved. Joash was hidden in the house of the Lord until the appointed time!

In the seventh year, God revealed His plan, proving that no scheme, no enemy, and no evil agenda can cancel what God has spoken. What He promises, He always brings to pass! 🙌🏽

Pastor Walker brought a powerful word from Matthew 26:6–13: “What You Do for God Is NOT a Waste.” It was a timely reminder that what God has already placed in our hands is enough. Our part is to be willing to use what we have, pour it out for Him, and trust that He will honor every sacrifice made for His glory.

People may not always understand your value or your sacrifice, but God does! 🙌🏽

“Not Depending on God Leads to Disaster” — Wake Up America! 🙌🏽👏🏽🙌🏽

Elder Cleaver preached a powerful and timely word this morning from II Kings 21. The story of Manasseh showed how turning away from God, embracing idols, and walking in wickedness led an entire nation into sin and destruction. It was a strong reminder that when we reject God’s ways and rely on ourselves instead of Him, destruction is sure to follow.

Today’s message challenged us to tear down every idol in our lives, repent, seek God wholeheartedly, and live according to His Word. Wake up America — any nation that forgets God is headed for destruction! !! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
