On behalf of the Diocese, we extend our deepest condolences to the families affected and pray for the strength and comfort of our community during this tragic time. ആറ് തവണ അർനോൾഡ് ക്ലാസിക് പ്രോ വീൽചെയർ ചാമ്പ്യനായ ഹരോൾഡ് കെല്ലിയെ തോൽപ്പിച്ച് കൊണ്ടാണ് രാജേഷ് ജോൺ എന്ന ഈ ബോഡി ബിൽഡർ ചരിത്രം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുവെന്നതാണ് കൂടുതൽ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ കാര്യം. ആദ്യ ഇന്ത്യൻ പ്രോ വീൽചെയർ മത്സരാർത്ഥിയായ ആനന്ദ് അർനോൾഡിൻ്റെ പാതയാണ് രാജേഷ് ജോൺ പിന്തുടർന്നത്
കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷത്തെ അർനോൾഡ് ക്ലാസിക് പ്രോ വീൽചെയർ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ആനന്ദ് അർനോൾഡ് മത്സരിച്ചെങ്കിലും കിരീടം നേടിയില്ല. തൻ്റെ മുൻഗാമിക്ക് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ റോൾ മോഡലിന് ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയാത്തത് ഈ വർഷം രാജേഷ് ജോൺ ചെയ്തു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്. 2016-ലെ ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാരായ WFF മിസ്റ്റർ വേൾഡ് കിരീട ജേതാവ് ആയ രാജേഷിന്‌ അത്ര എളുപ്പമായിരുന്നില്ല ഇത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം തൻ്റെ കിരീടം തിരിച്ചുപിടിച്ച നിലവിലെ ചാമ്പ്യൻ ഹരോൾഡ് കെല്ലി ഏഴാം തവണയും അർനോൾഡ് ക്ലാസിക് വീൽചെയർ പ്രോ ചാമ്പ്യനാകാൻ നോക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ആ പരിശ്രമത്തെ ആണ് രാജേഷ് തകർത്തത്.

The heritage and tradition of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, established by the apostle St. Thomas, is a source of pride and strength for each one of us.

Our Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church bears the lineage of our founding father and patron saint the apostle St. Thomas. At this time, when the Church is celebrating the 1950th anniversary of the martyrdom of that holy father, as well as the 90th anniversary of the demise of the Great Luminary Geevarghese Mar Dionysius of Vattasseril, and the 90th anniversary of the Church Constitution, we, the Chicago St. Thomas Orthodox Church Youth Movement, offer our whole hearted and complete support to the Mar Thoma Heritage Conference, and declare our loyalty and solidarity with the Holy Church.

Long live the throne of St. Thomas the Apostle.
