On Sunday, we learned that Elijah confronted the wrong beliefs of the king and the 450 prophets of Baal and God proved that He is the one true God. When Jesus was here on earth, He confronted the wrong beliefs of the religious leaders and He can help us have the courage to stand up for what the Bible says. Our theme for this month is Courageous as we discover the courage that we can have through Jesus. Today, we learned that Joshua and Caleb had the courage to go against what the crowd said and trust God. Jesus can help us have the courage to do what is right even when everyone around us is not. Use the 1 Conversation to continue learning at home. Plus, every day there will be a Verse of the Day video linked here and on the DC Kids YouTube page.
