We're just one week away from our first marriage class! Don't forget to mark your calendars for Wednesday evenings, June 17th through July 22nd. Each class will run from 6:00–8:00 pm, and childcare will be provided during the first hour.

The first hour (6:00-7:00) will feature a mix of Bible study and discussion on different aspects of marriage. There will be a time of formal biblical teaching for the men and women combined, and then they will split into separate groups and several seasoned couples will share some practical, experiential wisdom. Childcare will be offered for this first hour so that husbands and wives can both attend. The second hour (7:00-8:00) will be a time for everyone to fellowship. The teaching hour will help us to stay grounded in biblical truth, and the fellowship hour with other families will help apply and encourage that truth!

This Sunday we begin our new series through Nehemiah, which is all about the reform of God's covenant community. In Nehemiah chapter 1 we will study the first steps towards reform, which include recognizing the areas of decline in our day, feeling urgency over those issues, and humbly submitting them before the Lord. Join us for service at 10am as we see how this rebuilding process applies to the church, our families, and our individual lives.

The Great Commission
Matthew 28: 16-20

05/27/2026

This past Sunday was Pentecost Sunday, when the ascended Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit on the New Testament Church. On one hand, this was a colossal new development in the story of God's people, as the Spirit now permanently indwells all who are in Christ. On the other hand, we can't forget that the Spirit has ALWAYS been the One giving faith and new life to God's people in every age. While we must recognize the distinctions between the old and new covenants, we must also recognize the consistent ways God has redeemed sinners across both covenants.

"No one can say 'Jesus is Lord' except in the Holy Spirit." (1 Cor. 12:3)

"And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live." (Deut. 30:6)

"But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter." (Rom. 2:29)

"Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God... That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit... Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?" (John 3:3, 6, 9)
