This past Sunday was a beautiful day of celebration! Pentecost Sunday. Missions Sunday. Family Sunday. It all culminated in two big church planting announcements:
Last year on Pentecost Sunday, we commissioned Henty and Sophia to move to the Netherlands to begin the church planting process. For the past year, they have worked hard to identify a planting city and to explore partnerships with people, ministries, and churches. Over the past few months, the Lord has led us all to agree that they will be officially planting through The Risen Collective! Please pray for the launch of Risen Church Eindhoven as Henty and Sophia move to Eindhoven and start this exciting new work!
We are also thrilled to announce that our own Mike Valleskey will be serving as the lead church planter for a Risen Church plant in the greater Houston area! Mike has completed two years of The Collective church planting residency and is excited to start this church planting journey, likely starting in the fall of 2027. Please join us in praying for Mike and Debbie, for wisdom in finding a location, and for the gathering of a core team.
