CBC Families The Family Ministry at Cypress Bible Church All 5th graders are also offered the opportunity to be part of a small group at Xtreme Team on Wednesday evenings.

Our Mission in Kids Life is to: Provide a safe, fun, and exciting place where we can partner with parents to assist children birth to 5th grade to begin where they are and become more like Jesus. We do this by providing opportunities to:

GATHER for Life-Changing Worship
Kids have the opportunity to GATHER together every Sunday at 11:00 am for age-appropriate, God-honoring, Life-Changing Worship.

GROW through Life-Changing Truth
Kids have a chance to GROW with other Christ followers as they focus on Life-Changing truth from the Bible in our 2:42 Groups at the 9:30 hour on Sunday mornings. GOING on Life-Changing Mission
Kid’s Life integrates opportunities for kids to prepare to GO and minister to others as part of God’s Life-Changing Mission. Kids are provided opportunities to learn how they can use their unique, God-given gifts and abilities to serve God in Xtreme Team. In other programming, kids have opportunities to be involved in projects that assist in reaching local and global communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

What We Learned This Week

Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1–9)
Brite Idea: No one is greater than God.
This Month’s Big Question: Who made everything and rules over everything? God!

God instructed people to fill the Earth. Instead, they chose to gather in one spot and build a city, including a great tower so that they could make a name for themselves. God protected them from their wrong desires by confusing their language. They couldn’t understand each other and stopped trying to build the city. God scattered the people throughout the Earth.

The people were trying to make themselves great instead of focusing on how great God is. We all do that sometimes. We all sin and mess up. Only God is great enough to fix our sin. That is why Jesus came. Because He died on the cross and rose again, we can be forgiven for all the times we sin.
