Hey StonePoint family, quick reminder from Pastor Todd this election season:
As disciples of Jesus Christ we are called to be “the salt of the earth”, the purpose of salt in the Bible was to SLOW DECAY, and a part of being good disciples includes being good citizens of our state and nation that SLOW SOCIETAL DECAY.
While some Christians may shy away from “politics,” it’s important to remember many “political” issues today are moral issues that Scripture is clear about and Christians should care about. These issues include:
The sanctity of human life.
The definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
The God-given reality of biological s*x.
The defense of religious liberty and free speech.
The protection of parental rights.
And children’s right to be raised by their mother and father.
With midterm elections coming up, an estimated 1,349,000 Christians just in the state of GA didn’t vote in the 2020 presidential election. That same election was decided in GA by just 11,779 votes. Nationally, in the 2024 election an estimated 32 million self-identified Christians who attend church did not vote. So, we want to help.
Simply text the word VOTE to the number 20411 to receive a text reminder when midterm voting begins and a link to a site Christians built that can tell you WHERE to vote in your county and WHAT you need to bring in about 10 seconds.
The site works in all 50 states. Text the word VOTE to 20411 to receive the link and the reminder.
