Serenity Village Life Recovery A place of love and fellowship where we love God, love His people, and teach others to do the same.

Serenity Village Community Church (SVCC) was launched in December 2012. An offshoot of Serenity Village, a faith-based transitional 'whole-way' housing program that has changed nearly 1,000 lives, SVCC was formed to create a community of people connected to God and to one another. Led by Pastor Jeff Hill, SVCC's practical biblical teachings bring together over 500 people every Sunday at 10:30am & 6pm, Tuesday Night Life Recovery at 6:45pm, and Wednesday Night Bible Study at 6:30pm.

God wants to heal the pain that has been stored up in your body throughout your life. Jesus paid the price not only for your salvation, but also for your healing and restoration. The pain is real and should not be ignored, but many times it gets buried deep within us and affects how we think, feel, and live. Today, bring that pain to Jesus. Allow the Holy Spirit to touch the places that have been wounded and carrying burdens for far too long. What has been stored up for years can be healed by the power of God. You do not have to carry it any longer. Let Him begin the healing process today.

Step 7 is where humility replaces self-reliance.
Not humiliation.
Not self-hatred.
Humility.
The kind that allows people to stop pretending they have everything under control.
The kind that softens defensiveness and opens the heart to change.
Many people want healing while still gripping pride, control, or the need to protect their image.
But growth often requires people to honestly acknowledge:
“I cannot heal myself entirely on my own.”
Step 7 is not about becoming smaller.
It is about becoming more honest, teachable, and open.
There is strength in humility.
There is freedom in letting go of the need to appear perfect.
And there is healing in allowing God to work within the places we once tried to hide or defend.
We’re walking through all 12 steps, one week at a time.

Allow the Holy Spirit to heal your pain and restore what has been broken. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and God desires for it to be healthy, whole, and available for His purpose. As you surrender your hurts, wounds, and struggles to Him, His power can bring healing, strength, and transformation. Let Him do the work only He can do, so you can fully walk in the calling He has placed on your life. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

Tonight at Serenity Village Life Recovery, we continued the ASCENSION POWER series by focusing on what the Holy Spirit hears. As we opened our hearts to His conviction, He revealed areas for healing, growth, and surrender. It was a powerful night of recovery, freedom, and transformation.

Good morning!

I want to personally invite you to the Serenity Village Life Recovery Meeting tonight at Ascension Church in Crystal at 6:45 PM. We will continue our ASCENSION POWER series, focusing on the things that pollute our channel with God and prevent His power from flowing through us. We’ll be diving into Steps 4 through 9 and learning how to remove the obstacles that block God’s work in our lives.

It’s time to clear the channel and allow the power of God to flow freely through you. Freedom, healing, and transformation are on the other side of honesty, surrender, and obedience.

Step 11: We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

Be intentional with your prayers this weekend. Be conscious of keeping God on your mind throughout the day. Your meditation and prayer should focus on asking God what His will is for your life and how He wants you to live it. Then ask Him for the power to carry it out.
“
Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:6
