Can you believe it?! Our beautiful new stairway was completed in ONE DAY! Talk about going above and beyond!

A HUGE shout-out and heartfelt THANK YOU to John Elwell,Phil Griffin, Niel Robinson, and Creighton Clemens for sharing their time, talents, hard work, and hearts to bless Brunswick UMC with this wonderful improvement. We are SO grateful for you! ❤️🔨

🍂❤️ WHAT A SUNDAY AT BRUNSWICK! ❤️🍂

What a JOY! What a BLESSING! What a BEAUTIFUL DAY to be the Church! ⛪️🎉

This past Sunday, Brunswick United Methodist Church celebrated an AMAZING Laity Sunday and Oktoberfest Celebration, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude! From the spirit-filled worship and the gifts of our incredible laity to the laughter, fellowship, food, and fun, we were reminded of just how beautiful it is when God's people come together in love and community. ❤️

Laity Sunday reminded us that ministry is not reserved for the pastor or a select few. WE ARE ALL CALLED, GIFTED, AND SENT! Every gift matters. Every act of service makes a difference. And every person has a part to play in God's beautiful work in the world!

And then came Oktoberfest! 🍁🥨🍂 Let's just say there was plenty of joy, fellowship, and good food to go around! Because at Brunswick, we know that serving the Lord is serious business, but fellowship can be FUN business, too! 😂🙌🏾 Who says you can't praise the Lord on Sunday and enjoy a little Oktoberfest celebration afterward?!

Scripture reminds us in Psalm 118:24: “This is the day that the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

And rejoice we DID! ❤️

As we continue this beautiful season together, we are grateful for every member, every leader, every volunteer, every helping hand, and every heart committed to the ministry God has entrusted to us. We are thankful for the ways God is moving among us, strengthening our fellowship, growing our gifts, and preparing us for what is still to come. ✨

So, let's keep loving boldly, serving joyfully, and leading courageously! Thank you Reginald Hardy for the photos!

A Celebration of Life, Love, and Gratitude: Marlene Mae Sprunk

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” - Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)

On Tuesday, the Brunswick United Methodist Church family gathered in love and gratitude to celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved member
Marlene Mae Sprunk. ❤️

Though our hearts are tender as we say farewell, we give God thanks for the gift of Marlene’s life, the memories she leaves behind, and the many ways her life touched our church family and community. We are grateful for the seasons she shared with us from worship and fellowship to family milestones and the sacred moments that become cherished memories. Her story is woven into the beautiful tapestry of our church’s life, and for that, we give God praise.

As we reflect on the words of Jesus in John 14:1–3, we find comfort in His promise: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” We hold fast to the blessed assurance that, even in our sorrow, we do not grieve without hope. We entrust Marlene into the loving care of our Creator, whose grace sustains us in every season of life.

To Marlene’s beautiful Childen and their spouses, brother, grandchildren and great grandchildren,neices,nephews and cousin along with all family,friends and all who loved her, we extend our heartfelt prayers, love, and deepest gratitude for allowing us to share in honoring her life. May you find comfort in the memories you hold, strength in the love that surrounds you, and peace in knowing that a life lived and loved leaves a lasting imprint on the hearts of others.

On Tuesday we celebrated a life remembered, a love cherished, and a God whose faithfulness carries us through every season. There is a time to weep, a time to heal, and a time to give thanks for the beautiful gift of having loved and been loved.

Rest in heavenly peace, Marlene Mae Sprunk. Your life was a blessing, your memory is a treasure, and your place in our Brunswick family will always be remembered with love and gratitude. 🕊️💐
