What does it mean when we say that Chrysalis is a Starfish Mission?

❓Why are we called Starfish Mission?

Have you heard of the Starfish Story?

We can’t help everyone, but if we help one, it was worth it! 👤

Whether the one is:
⛰️recovering in Appalachia
📚working on their GED,
👶🏻picking up diapers in Texas,
🎲 a teenager playing a game in a safe place

👉🏽We want to be there for them.

All of missions are focused on relational ministry 👥. Each one falls under the umbrella organization: Starfish Mission which is a 501c3

What is the reason for our missions?

In September, we had two girls working very hard on their math GED. This week we should see one of them take and pass the math portion that is by far the hardest subject for many students. Please pray for her.

I have a friend who has a daughter who is 18. She has been homeschooled for a good part of her education. Her mom passed away 2 years ago unexpectedly and quite suddenly. Understandably, it has rocked their family. To add injury to insult, her father was just laid off. He asked if I would help her get her GED. I absolutely can do that. But, I need a little help. It’ll cost about $250 to get her through all the studying and the tests. Would anyone like to sponsor her? I know it would mean the world to not only her, but to her father as well.

An interesting tidbit- her mana helped me in early days of Teen Life Center. It’s how we met. I’d love to give back to her daughter since she did so much for so many others!
