God built the bridge we could never build ourselves.

Sin separated us from God, and we couldn’t cross that chasm on our own.

But God wanted us.

He gave His only begotten Son to make the way possible.

Would getting rid of your phone be too drastic?

Maybe not.

Especially if what you’re looking at is pulling you away from God.

Jesus used strong language to make a serious point:
If something is causing you to stumble, dealing with it drastically is better than letting it keep you from heaven.

What does it actually look like to have a real relationship with God?

It’s one thing to say we believe in God. It’s another thing to have a genuine faith that changes how we live, what we seek, and how close we want to be to Him.

This lesson asks some important questions about our relationship with God:
Are we truly seeking Him?
Are we drawing closer to Him?
Is our faith something we live every day, or just something we practice on Sunday?

If you want a closer relationship with God, watch the full ‘ A Real Relationship With God’ sermon: https://www.crossvillechurchofchrist.org/sermons

Sin isn’t only about what we do wrong. Sometimes it’s about what we fail to do.

We’re expected to
Pray
Serve
Study
Grow
and gather together

When we know what is right and choose not to do it, Scripture says that matters too.
