Good evening to our church and community family. We want you to know that the board met this evening and are working on ways that we can help our community in this time of need.
⛪️Although our church building has been in the middle of the power and water issues, our people have been doing things to assist our neighbors. 🙌
How we can continue help: The elders and Jonathan met with the leaders at the old Roseville Middle School on West Athens Rd tonight. They say they desperately need volunteers starting tomorrow starting at 9am. Even if you can only spare a few hours - the need for hands and boots on the ground is great. They are sorting donations, helping the people in need “go shopping” in their two large rooms of donations, and they need help cleaning the rest of the building to get it ready to house those who need it. Our church is taking them our spare banquet tables tomorrow and we are also purchasing some of the supplies they are running low on.

💒For Sunday: we plan to have services even if the water isn’t on. If you would like to bring items to donate, we will be collecting donations of any of the items listed on the posts you have seen on FB.
💵 We will be taking up a special offering to go to the efforts to recover and rebuild in our community.
🎒We will be doing the “Backpack Blessing” for the kids, teachers and staff returning to school next week.

May God be with our church, our community, the volunteers, the first responders and authorities while we all come together to help everyone in need.🙏✝️❤️

Starting this Sunday there will be the option to utilize online giving through tithely. In this image there is the QR code that will take you directly to the online form to donate to church/tithe.

You can use a card or your banking information. There is a very small fee in addition to the donation that you make. There is the option to cover the fee yourself or have it automatically taken out of the donation. Either way is fine. The fee is smaller for checking accounts rather than cards.

If you choose tithely does have an app which can make future donations easier. Once you click on QR code or link the website does have a link for donating the app if you choose to.

Of course if you choose to tithe with cash or check you still can. This is just another option that has been requested by members of the congregation.
