Earlier this week, we made more progress on the steeple. We’ve been getting together on Thursday evenings to work on the project. One of the hardest parts was to get the preassembled pieces lifted up due to the weight, but this past Thursday we overcame one of the main hurtles - raising the center frame for the bell and clock tower. This steeple is in a high wind area, and none of our previous builders have successfully been able to build something that stays up (and they used very poor materials). Due this repeated issue over the years, we decided we would do it ourselves and specifically build it to be capable of withstanding very high winds and severe storms. So far God is helping us, and we can truly feel it as we build. Continue to keep us in your prayers as we move forward! 🙏🏻
