Thursday Night Peace Vigils at the Church of the Ascension Cranston

In a world where we are confronted with the horrors of war we often feel as if there is nothing we can do. During Lent you are invited to focus on what we can do through our Christian faith that is grounded in love and hope.

The Church of the Ascension will open its doors from 6:00 to 6:30 pm Thursday Evenings from March 5th to March 26th to provide an opportunity to focus our silent prayers and meditations for peace in our community, our country and our world. Written meditations will be provided as well as several prayers for peace. The vigils will end with a hymn for peace.
