His Place Cathedral of Faith is a church of second chances, believing in showing Grace, having Mercy, giving Hope, building Faith, and showing the Love of God to one another. We're a Bible believing, Bible teaching church and encourage each member to seek out a daily relationship with God.

It’s Labor Day weekend - the “unofficial” last weekend of summer! ☀️ Last night we spent some time enjoying the beautiful weather and making memories with our church family at Pastor Wayne and Connie’s farm. ❤️ Thankfully, we still have some warm days ahead here in Michigan, as we are not quite ready to say goodbye to summer! 🙌

Our lesson today from the book of Nehemiah reminds us that God’s work is our work. God has given each of us a purpose, and we can discover where He is calling us by looking at three things:

1. Affinity — What speaks to you? What are you passionate about? What burden or calling has God placed on your heart? ❤️
2. Ability — What are your talents? What gifts, skills, and abilities has God given you that can be used to serve Him and others? 🙏
3. Necessity — Where is the need? Where do you see a need that God may be calling you to help meet? 👏

The well issues have been resolved and repaired. Service will be tomorrow at 10:30 am at the main Covert location. A special thanks to James (Kim) Ryan for getting things repaired this week so we did not have to move the service to the Hartford Outreach Center location. We greatly appreciate their efforts. If you ever need a great electrician, James is the man to call. 🙏 Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Summer is winding down, which means it’s almost time for back to school📚and His Place Outreach Center - Hartford is gearing up for our after school program! We were able to attend the ‘Back to School Bash’ last night at HPS and meet with children and their families! ❤️ To learn more about our program, see the flyer below as well as the Outreach Center page! 🙌🏻

We had such a great time at service today! 🙌 Thank you to Marie and Paula for the fun lesson on Esther.

Esther’s story reminds us that God is always at work, even when we cannot see Him. Like Esther and Mordecai, we can trust Him, stand for what is right, and be willing to act when He calls us.

And perhaps, just like Esther, God has placed each of us exactly where we are… for such a time as this. ❤️
