Everyone, please join us in celebrating Grandpa Buck!
E.T. (Grandpa) Buck is a retired pastor who volunteers regularly in our South Haven Head Start program. At 98 years young Grandpa Buck has been a reliable classroom volunteer for more than 18 years, and this year Grandpa Buck will receive the Older Adult Volunteer of the Year Award from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Grandpa Buck's contribution demonstrates how impactful volunteers can be in our classrooms, hallways, offices, kitchens, and busses. Grandpa Buck loves his work, and he loves our kids, but his relationships with Kim Ertman and all the staff members who worked with him over the years matter most. Building relationships, and trust, with volunteers, is critical to our success. Relationships matter.

Second Baptist Church will be having an Open Baptism on Sunday February, 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM following Morning Service. Candidates are asked to arrive no later than 12:30PM. Please bring a change of clothing and a towel to dry off with.

It is with a sorrowful soul to announce the separation from this life of our dear and devoted DEACON LENWOOD HENRY who transitioned early Christmas morning between the hour of 4:30AM and 5:00AM.
