Day FOURTEEN of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

Luke 10:34 says:
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"

God wants to use us to make a difference in this world. You are here on this earth for a purpose. God is calling you right now; all you have to do is say, "yes, Lord!"

We live in a broken, hurting world. God has called us to be salt and light; to faithfully administer His grace, mercy and compassion to the broken, needy, lonely, discouraged, forgotten and lost.

There is an important question that each Christ-follower must ask about his or her life. It is the same question that faced the priest, Levite and Good Samaritan in the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10): "Am I going to do anything to make a difference in the life of this man or woman who is broken and hurting?"

PRAY
Heavenly Father, I am in awe of you and your great love. I am humbled and honored that you would choose me to help build your Kingdom. Help me see others through your loving eyes. Show me how to be more caring and compassionate. Use me as a conduit of your extraordinary grace to those who need it most. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day THIRTEEN of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

We live in a noisy world. Notifications, headlines, opinions, and endless entertainment all compete for our attention. And in that noise, it's easy to miss the gentle voice of the Lord.

But God still speaks. Through Scripture. Through His Spirit. Through His people. The question is: Will we quiet our lives long enough to hear Him?

Consecration means turning our ears to Heaven. It means creating space for the Spirit to speak and for us to respond with faith and obedience.

As we continue this journey of prayer, ask God to speak to you. Ask Him to awaken your heart, to reveal what you've missed and to give you ears to hear. But more than that, be ready to respond.

PRAY
Lord, speak. I am listening. Help me to silence the noise around me and with me so I can hear you clearly. Thank you that you still speak today. I want to know your voice. Teach me to recognize it, to trust it and to obey it. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day TWELVE of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

May the Lord be a true and faithful witness against us if we do not act according to all the word with which the Lord your God sends you to us. Whether it is good or bad, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God. Jeremiah 42:5-6.

As I read these verses, I felt like God was asking me to examine my own heart. Is there an area that I haven't surrendered to Him? What about you? Is there anything in your life that you haven't surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus? Is there anything that you find yourself saying: "Lord, I'll do anything, but . . ."?

Lord, I'll do anything, but surely you're not asking me to respect my husband.
Lord, I'll do anything, but surely you're not asking me to forgive that person.
Lord, I'll do anything, but surely you don't want me to deal with my anger issues . . .I'm just a passionate person.
Lord, I'll do anything, but surely you're not asking me to surrender my bitterness.
Lord, I'll do anything, but I'll just control this one area of my life.

I heard a wise pastor once say, "The vast majority of Christians are educated beyond their level of obedience. If you would just do what you already know, your life would start to change."

PRAY
Father, when I hear your voice, and when you speak and convict me of sin or an area of obedience, I want you to know my "yes" is on the table. Make me a man/woman of faith. I want to walk with you in humble obedience. Strengthen my resolve to surrender everything in my life to the Lordship. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day ELEVEN of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

We don't often talk about it, but most believers eventually go through seasons when God feels distant. Your prayers feel like they're bouncing off the ceiling. Worship songs sound hollow. You remember times when you felt close to God, but now it seems like you're wandering through a spiritual desert. It's a lonely place, and if you're there right now, know that you're not alone - and that your'e not a failure.

What should you do in these seasons? First stay honest. Pray David's prayer if you need to "How long, Lord?" God can handle your questions. He would rather have your messy, honest prayers than your silence.

If you're in a season when God feels distant, don't give up. Keep seeking, keep asking, keep knocking. He promises that those who seek Him will find Him.

PRAY
God, help me to trust you, even when I can't feel you. Remind me of your promises and anchor me in your unfailing love. Teach me to worship in every season. Bring friends around me who will support and encourage me. Thank you, that seasons when you feel distant are not the end of my story. I trust that you are working in me, and I will sing of your goodness again. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day TEN of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Psalm 36:51

If you've ever had God do something very personal for you, like answer a very personal prayer that had deep ceded emotion attached to it, you know the feeling, right? It could be a lot of things . . . the salvation of a family member, a very personal need that you've struggled with for a long time, or even a healing from a long-term illness. No matter the answer to prayer, when God answers, and your heart is right, you will be thankful. You will be overjoyed that your prayers have been answered.

Remember how He sustained you in the waiting. He may have been using that time to mold you more into the image of His Son.

Remember the answered prayer is not just a gift; it's a revelation of God's character. He is faithful and true, and each fulfilled promise is a reminder that He sees, hears and cares deeply for His children.
So, when the waiting is over, let gratitude guide you into a deeper relationship with Him keeping your heart attuned to His will and His glory.

PRAY
Father, thank you for listening every time I pray. Help me to remember that you hear me, even if the answer is "wait" or "no". Thank you for always being enough, even when I am walking through a time of pain or sorrow. I know that you work all things for the good of those who love you, so even waiting is a time for you to do good in me. Help me remember that and embrace it. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day NINE of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

God puts opportunities in front of us every single day. We're alive to advance His Kingtom. It could be how we interact with each other, the facial expressions we use or the hand gestures we want to let fly when somenone cuts us off in traffic. Every day, we are given chances to set an example of how God would want something done vs. how we as humnan beings selfishly want to respond. What an amazing opporutnity for each of us to impact this broken world we live in.

PRAY
God, please grant the ability to appreciate the gift of each day. Allow me to understand every opportunity that comes my way from the perspective of eternity. Bless me with the right words to say, the best emotional response and a Jesus-inspired smile in all my interactions. Thank you for each opportunity I'm blessed with to advance your Kingdom. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day EIGHT of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

Why, when I came, was there no man; why, when I called, was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Isaiah 50:2a

You're never out of God's reach. Sometimes intermingled with the hope of what God can do, someone will confess that they fear they or their situation is beyond God's reach.

Romans 2:4 tells us that God is a loving Father who always offers forgiveness to those who repent. His kindness is meant to lead us to repentance. So, whatever your situation or wherever you find yourself, you are not out of God's reach.

All that is needed is to repent and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15) - that Jesus came, died and rose to bring forgiveness and new life for you. The same hope given to Israel then is available to us now. Run to Him. He wants you to encounter Him today.

PRAY
Father, I want to encounter you. Help me to release anything holding me back from deepening my relationship with you. Help me to release any wrong thinking about who you are and believe the truth of the gospel: I am more sinful than I dare believe, but the fullness of your love for me was settled on the cross. Father, please do what only you can do in my life and the rest of our Church body. We want to encounter you. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day SEVEN of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

Jesus went up on the mountain and called to Him those whome he desired, and they came to Him. And he appointed twelve whome he also named apostles, so that they might be with him and he might send them to preach. Mark 3:13-14

God calls those he desires. God called you because He desired you. He's not after your forced obedience. He's after you.
The Bible says God is like a lover who feels deep affection for you and desires to be known by you. This means that we respond to God's calling with joy, excitement and expectation.

The Creator of the universe, God Almighty, who doesn't need anything, desires to be with you!

Before God calls you to do something for Him, He calls you to be with Him.

Your relationship with God and your life in Christ will grow and mature to the extent of your intimacfy with Him as you remain in Him.

PRAY
God, help me understand how wide, how far and how deep your love is for me. Give me a heart that desires you more. Give me a discomfort so that I can seek you more. Give me the wisdom to organize my schedule, my time and my habits in a way that is primarily oriented to spending more time in intimacy with you. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day SIX of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

And they (the angels) were calling to one another: "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord almighty: the whole earth is full of his glory." Isaiah 6:31

If you think about anything that you're wrestling with today, any issue, problem, challenge, obstacle, sin . . .whatever it is. Whatever image of God you hold will shape how you live, pry and respond to life.

Examples are:
If today you are struggling with guilt, you need to be reminded of the grace of God.

If you are struggling with always wanting to be in control, you need to be reminded of the sovereignty of God.

If you are struggling with anger or frustration, you need to be reminded of the mercy of God.

If you want to truly know God and experience His presence, you must deepen your understanding of his holiness. "Holy" is not just another word we use to describe God sometimes. It is who He is. Always.

PRAY
Father, today I praise you. You are holy, holy, holy. Lead me to find joy and delight as I worship you. Help me see you for who you really are, according to what your Word really says. Let my mind be filled with your truth, your holiness, your glory, your beauty and may everything I do today be an apprpirate response to your holiness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Day FIVE of our twenty-one days of prayer, October 4 - 24, 2026. Included are excerpts from a journal written by Pastor Tony Lantz.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

One moment in God's presence can change everything. We see this in the lives of Moses (Exodus 3:1-2), the disciples (Mark 1:16-20), Paul (Acts 9), and countless others in Scripture (Hebrews 11).

God called each person to take one step toward Him, and as they obeyed and drew near, their lives were never the same. The same God who spoke to them then is the same God who calls to you now.

PRAY
Father, create in us hearts that long for you. We pray that you will stir our affections for more of you. Increase our hearts' capacity to know and love you. We want to encounter you, Lord, and may we never be the same. In Jesus' name, amen.
