Our First VBS — and what a week it was.

This week, our kids learned about some incredible heroes of the Bible — David, Samson, and Daniel — and through every story, craft, game, song, laugh, and prayer, they learned the most important truth of all our ultimate Superhero is JESUS.

We watched kids make new friends, worship with their
whole hearts, ask questions, laugh until their bellies hurt, and learn just how deeply they are loved by God.
To every parent who trusted us with your children — thank you. To every volunteer who gave their time, energy, talents, and love — thank you. And to every child who walked through our doors and made this VBS so incredibly special — thank you.

54 kids.
26 volunteers.
Countless memories.
And seeds of faith planted that we pray will continue growing for years to come.

For our very first VBS at Community Christian Church, we couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful.

Our first Washunga Parade and even though my wife said we would not get first for the float….we did!!!! We wanted to promote our VBS!!! It will be in the evening and dinner will be provided and the Saturday is a back to school event!
