Every Sunday is a reminder that we don’t walk through life alone.
We belong to a people, a mission, and a story that is greater than ourselves.
There’s a place for you here. Services online or in person start at 9:30AM.

A grateful heart is often formed through humility, which allows us to recognize the good things in our lives and appreciate the people who make a positive impact. It's a quality that can bring us joy, peace, and contentment. Is there something that you are grateful for today? Perhaps it's a good cup of coffee, a beautiful sunrise, or a supportive friend, or a freshly sharpened pencil (one of my favorites). Whatever it may be big or small, take a moment to reflect on it and let the feeling of gratitude fill your heart. Share below what you're thankful for and let's spread some positivity! 💕

Heavenly Father,
You have called us together as one body in Christ, yet we confess how easily division, pride, and misunderstanding can find their way among us. Forgive us for the times we have valued being right more than being loving, and for the moments we have forgotten that we belong to one another through Your grace.
Teach us to walk in humility, patience, and gentleness. Help us to listen well, forgive quickly, and love deeply. May our unity not be built on preference or personality, but on the unshakable foundation of Jesus Christ and the truth of the gospel.
Holy Spirit, bind Your Church together in peace and purpose. Let us be a witness to the world—not because we are perfect, but because Your love is at work among us. Strengthen our fellowship, deepen our compassion, and make us faithful in carrying one another’s burdens.
May we reflect the heart of Christ in all we do, so that through our unity, the world might see Your glory.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

A Note from Our Lay Servant and Lay Person to Annual Conference - Hi there! I'm Cathy Harris, your Lay Person to Annual Conference, Lay Servant and on the Leadership Council.

I know some of you don't know much about me, but I really want to represent you, by being a good communicator between the church and the conference. I grew up at Trinity Heights UMC in Flagstaff during the time of the Lay Witness Missions 1970's, which seemed to make a big difference the life of the church. Coach Heath from Phoenix led it (he went on to Mingus Camp as camp director). My father passed away, and my family moved from Flagstaff to Camp Verde where I attended the Methodist Church and graduatied high school. I feel like I have been a part of the Verde Valley now, for over 50 years. The writings of Rev. Paul McCleary about Methodism in Arizona and at Mountain View has made me feel like I know some of you better. (History of Methodism in Arizona located in our library)

I graduated from NAU with a degree in Early Childhood/Special Education and was active in the church abnd at the Campus Christian Center. I always wanted to be a missionary, so I went to Tampa FL with the US-2 program and worked in a daycare center. I was trained in Washington D.C. and then in New York when the Board of Global Missions was there. I love that our church is connectional!

I feel that Methodist's everywhere are a part of my tribe, my people. My son Matthew had the opportunity to attend Chandler School of Theology, so I am connected through him. You may have met Matthew once or twice as he has attended Mountain View with me several times. Please feel free to communicate with me at [email protected]

Church Office Goes Remote for the Summer - Happy summer! Starting June 14th, our church office will be shifting to a remote work schedule. This means our dedicated office staff (Angie) will be working from home to enjoy some well-deserved rest & relaxation. We want to ensure that she has the opportunity to recharge and maintain the energy and enthusiasm that she brings to our church community.

While Angie will be working remotely, the church office will still be open every Wednesday with volunteer staffing from 9 AM to 3 PM. This is the perfect time to stop by if you need to pick up any materials or have any questions. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make this transition to better serve you all year round.

📅 Starting: June 14th
🕘 Office Hours: Wednesdays, 9 AM - 3 PM

Some things in life can change in the blink of an eye.
God’s goodness never does.
His love endures forever and that gives us reason to hope today.
