10 Prayer Points for Tonight’s Election Prayer

1. Repentance and mercy for America. Father, we humble ourselves before You. Forgive our sins, awaken our conscience, and turn our hearts back to You. Have mercy on our nation and bring healing to our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

2. Wisdom for every voter. Lord, give voters discernment to see beyond personalities, promises, and headlines. Help us weigh policies and character according to truth and righteousness. (James 1:5)

3. Protection over President Trump and his family. Father, protect President Trump, his family, and those assigned to guard him. Expose and thwart every plan of violence against them. Surround them with Your protection. (Psalm 91:2)

4. Godly wisdom for President Trump. Lord, draw President Trump closer to You. Give him humility, discernment, strength, and wise counsel. Help him make decisions that honor You and serve the American people. (1 Timothy 2:1–2)

5. Honest and lawful elections. Father, let every eligible voter participate freely and every lawful ballot be counted accurately. Protect the process from fraud, cyber, deep-state or enemy interference, mistakes, and interference, and a miracle. (Proverbs 11:1)

6. Protection over communities and polling places. In Jesus’ name, we pray against violence, terror attacks, cyberattacks, and every effort to endanger people or disrupt the election. Protect voters, election workers, first responders, and public officials. (Psalm 46:1)

7. Truth to overcome deception. Lord, expose lies and bring verified truth into the light. Give us patience to examine what we hear and discipline to avoid spreading rumors, fear, fake news, or false accusations. (Ephesians 4:25)

8. Righteous leaders at every level. Father, raise up leaders who value life, defend religious liberty, uphold justice, and serve with integrity. Convict every elected official to put the good of the people above personal gain. (Proverbs 29:2)

9. A praying and courageous Church. Holy Spirit, awaken Your people from apathy and weariness. Help us pray faithfully, fulfill our civic responsibilities, speak truth with love, and keep Jesus at the center of our hope. (Colossians 4:2)

10. Peace, revival, and faith beyond the results. Lord, let peace prevail as votes are counted and results are confirmed. Keep us steadfast in You through every outcome. Bring salvation, revival, and a renewed hunger for Your Word across America. Our hope is in Jesus Christ. In His mighty name, amen! (Romans 15:13)

Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves before You and ask You to spare our land. Forgive our sins and turn our hearts back to You. Let Your mercy cover America. Protect our families, thwart every evil plan, and awaken Your Church. Give our leaders wisdom and lead our nation in righteousness. We cry out for revival, healing, and another generation that will know and serve You. Lord, have mercy on America. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

BABYLON IS MAKING ITS MOVE • Sunday Service

The closing word comes from 2 Chronicles 7:14. Awakening doesn't begin with Hollywood or Washington getting right. It begins when God's people get right.

Will Real Christians Hold the Line?

Last night, I noticed something that deeply troubled me.

As I looked around our neighborhood, it honestly felt dark. Some of the atmosphere reminded me of the movie The Purge. There were precious children out with their families, and I want to be clear that those children are loved by God. But among some of the teenagers, there was a noticeable spirit of rebellion. The unruliness, the behavior, and the darkness being celebrated caused me to pause.

It made me think about something much bigger than one night in our neighborhood.

I believe one of the reasons our nation has been preserved up until now is that there has been a righteous remnant. There have been believers who prayed when others slept. People who fasted, repented, cried out, and contended for our country, our freedom, and the generations coming behind us. People who asked God for mercy when our nation deserved judgment.

But I am concerned that we are approaching a tipping point.

Has the remnant become apathetic? Have we become weary? Have we become so accustomed to darkness that we barely recognize it anymore? Have some believers surrendered their discernment because the allure of this hour became more attractive than the cost of standing?

In 2 Timothy 3:1–5, the Bible warns that perilous times will come in the last days. It describes people who are lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemous, disobedient to parents, unthankful, and unholy. They will be without natural affection, unwilling to reconcile, slanderous, without self-control, fierce, and despisers of those who are good. They will be treacherous, reckless, conceited, and lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. They will maintain an outward appearance of godliness while denying its power.

Read that slowly. Then look around.

Isaiah 5:20 also warns about those who call evil good and good evil, who exchange darkness for light and light for darkness. We are watching moral confusion become something people celebrate, promote, and demand that everyone else affirm.

Sometimes you can walk down the toy aisle of a big box retailer and see imagery that, to me, looks overtly demonic. Things that once would have caused parents to stop and ask questions are now packaged as harmless entertainment.

But this goes far beyond toys.

It is what we watch on streaming platforms. It is what we laugh at, what we excuse, and what we allow into our homes. It is the steady presentation of rebellion as freedom and holiness as something embarrassing or hateful.

My concern is how comfortable we may have become with all of it.

We cannot spend hours feeding our minds with darkness and assume it has no effect on our spiritual sensitivity. We cannot consistently entertain what God tells us to resist and expect our discernment to remain sharp.

And we cannot place the entire responsibility on the next generation. Those teenagers need salvation, discipleship, loving correction, and adults who will model a different way. They need a church that carries both truth and the love of Jesus.

In the next few days, we are going to see consequential decisions made about the direction of this country. I believe those decisions will reveal something about whether people who profess biblical convictions are willing to act on them.

Some say voting is not a spiritual matter. I disagree.

Our decisions about leadership affect human life, religious liberty, families, children, and the freedom to proclaim the Gospel. Those matters carry moral weight. Voting is one meaningful way we can help hold the line.

Consider Texas and James Talarico. His support for abortion rights is documented. I believe that position absolutely conflicts with the biblical responsibility to protect unborn life. That is just one of many serious concerns for me, regardless of the religious language a candidate uses. He is not reflecting anything even remotely Christian in my view.

A state’s reputation as a Republican stronghold does not guarantee its future. People must participate. Believers must examine records, weigh policies against Scripture, pray for wisdom, and take their responsibility seriously! Texas and other historically red states, MUST VOTE!

Our hope rests in Jesus Christ. That hope should produce faithful action in the places where God has given us responsibility.

But the question goes deeper than an election.

Will we return to the prayer closet? Will we repent of the compromises we have tolerated in our own lives? Will we teach our children the Word? Will we speak truth with courage and love when silence would be easier?

Will we stand for righteousness?

Second Chronicles 2:14 is not the passage we need here. It is 2 Chronicles 7:14, where God calls His people to humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways. He promises to hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

We often emphasize the healing of the land. We need to pay attention to what God asks of His people.

Humility. Prayer. Seeking His face. Turning from wickedness.

We cannot demand national repentance while refusing personal repentance. We cannot ask God to confront corruption around us while protecting compromise within us.

I still believe there is a remnant. I still believe there are people who love Jesus, honor His Word, and refuse to bow to the spirit of this age. I believe God hears their prayers.

If you are weary, bring that weariness to the Lord. Ask Him to renew your strength. Then take the next faithful step.

Pray. Repent. Speak the truth. Love your neighbor. Disciple your children. Vote with biblical conviction. Stand where God has placed you.

VOTE!

The darkness I noticed last night stirred a burden in me to pray and to speak. It reminded me that our neighborhoods are mission fields and that the next generation needs us to be present, faithful, and spiritually awake.

Will the remnant hold the line?

By the grace of God, let our answer be found in how we live.

Now is the time to stand. 🙏
