We have our can trailer out! Love that we have a commitment to make our World 🌎 a Better Place by Recycling! ♻️

Please dump your aluminum cans, we do not want plastic or paper bags in trailer (its a quick process at recycling, and they can’t accept any cans with paper or plastic.)

Thanks to Scott P for helping to fix the trailer and members who chipped in to get it fixed.

Great to be stewards of the Earth God has given to us! Thanks for helping by recycling!

It has been out a month almost ready for the trip to recycling facility!

In May we saw a few retirements!

Thank you to Mary Butze for leading our Praise Band for many years and Lori Hinz for her piano accompaniment and music ministry at St Luke. These two retires greatly blessed us with Christ filled devotion through music. 🎶

We also saw Joe Day retire from the Tech Booth area and thank him, also, for his steadfast work to our worship service.

There are so many volunteers and staff that work towards each service at St Luke. Each person is dedicated to sharing Christ’s love in our worship and the world around us. Thank you to all who help and especially these three.

Sunday, May 17 was a Collaborative Service with Light The Way Church, a beautiful and moving service, blessed by the Spirit of the Lord through both congregation members.

As part of that service, Light the Way members Charlotte & Michelle lead a Bags of Love project! Members of both congregations donated travel size personal care items, food items and water which were gathered into individual back packs. These were bagged up last week by this crew of volunteers and were ready to be blessed and handed out for members to take and give to those in need. {You can hear Pastor John’s message about this at 47:00 during offering}

The service on Sunday also included St Luke’s children’s ministry doing a sign language inclusive “Jesus Loves Me.” {find this at 13:00}

Light the Way members performed a play for the congregation and both choirs joined together for special music. It truly was a wonderful service.
