Sunday, May 17 was a Collaborative Service with Light The Way Church, a beautiful and moving service, blessed by the Spirit of the Lord through both congregation members.
As part of that service, Light the Way members Charlotte & Michelle lead a Bags of Love project! Members of both congregations donated travel size personal care items, food items and water which were gathered into individual back packs. These were bagged up last week by this crew of volunteers and were ready to be blessed and handed out for members to take and give to those in need. {You can hear Pastor John’s message about this at 47:00 during offering}
The service on Sunday also included St Luke’s children’s ministry doing a sign language inclusive “Jesus Loves Me.” {find this at 13:00}
Light the Way members performed a play for the congregation and both choirs joined together for special music. It truly was a wonderful service.
