All Saints Lutheran Church, ELCA

All Saints Lutheran Church, ELCA Show Up. Do Good. Be Kind. All Saints Lutheran Church is called to the ministry of reconciliation. We embrace the gift of diversity in this community and world.

We proclaim this statement of welcome to all who have known the pain of exclusion or discrimination in the church and society. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we invite all people to join us in a faith journey of mutual transformation through love, understanding and respect. We affirm that all people are created in the image of God, and as such, are worthy of God's extravagant love and grace. We celebr

ate the diversification of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, race, culture, ethnicity, age, faith journey, marital and economic status, physical and mental ability and education. We recognize that there are differences among us, but we believe that we can love alike even though we may not think alike. We desire to not only talk the talk but earnestly walk the walk. We are committed to holding space for and welcoming into leadership members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, working to be a space committed to racial equity. We support the continued work of the RIC program and are committed to work for justice for immigrants and refugees, as we follow God’s call to Show Up, Do Good, and Be Kind.

One of the best parts of ministry is seeing people step up to volunteer and help out, especially when things get busy around the church (like synod assembly and 3 funerals in the same weekend).

I snapped this picture this morning during worship. A few weeks ago, I forgot to pour water into the font during the Thanksgiving for Baptism section, and Doug stepped in to make it happen. Every week since, Doug has continued to step in- without recognition or expectation.

It takes so many people to help this place run, and we can’t remember to thank everyone who helps keep this place running. For everyone who helps out, we see you, and we are so thankful for you.
