Freedom doesn’t always start when the situation changes.

Sometimes the circumstance is still hard. The criticism still stings. The insecurity still shows up. The same negative thought still knocks on the door.

But you don’t have to let every thought move in and take over.

The real shift happens when you stop treating every thought like truth and start measuring it against what God has said.

Is this true? Does this agree with God’s Word? Is this how Jesus sees me?

You may not be able to control every thought that enters your mind, but you can decide which thoughts get to stay.

Your freedom doesn’t begin when your circumstances change. Freedom begins when truth changes the way you think.

Cortland, you make Sundays feel like home.

There’s something special about walking in, seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, worshiping together, and watching kids genuinely enjoy being at church.

We’re grateful for what God is building here, one person, one family, one Sunday at a time. 💙

What God has done in you was never meant to stop with you.
The grace you’ve received. The freedom you’ve found. The healing you’ve experienced. The story God has given you, all of it can become a way for someone else to encounter Jesus. And that doesn’t always mean preaching a sermon or having the perfect answer. Sometimes it looks like a conversation. A meal. A prayer. A text. Simply being willing to let someone else see what Jesus has done in your life. There are people around us who haven’t found the hope we’ve found yet.

What’s in you is for the unreached.

Don’t keep it to yourself.

Kids learning about Jesus. People finding community. Families growing together. People worshiping, praying, and making room for God to move.

Different ages. Different stories. Different seasons of life. One church, becoming more like Jesus together.

We love what God is building at Two Rivers. ❤️

You can spend a long time waiting to feel ready.

Waiting until you know more.
Waiting until you're more confident.
Waiting until everything finally makes sense.

But God doesn't need you to have everything figured out before you obey Him.

If He's calling you to move, He already knows your strengths, your weaknesses, what you have—and what you don't have. None of it surprised Him when He called you.

You don't step out because you're ready. You step out because you're sent.

Your job isn't to have the whole plan figured out.

Trust Him. Take the next step. Go.

A church full of people at different stages of life, different places in their faith, and different parts of their story.
And right in the middle of all of it, God is at work.
Sometimes that work is loud and obvious. Sometimes it’s happening quietly, beneath the surface, preparing us for something we can’t see yet.
We’re grateful we don’t have to figure any of it out alone.
There’s a place for you here. 💙

A Sunday well spent in Cortland. 🙌

Worship, conversations, kids having fun, families together, and plenty of good moments in between.

We love getting to gather with this community every week and seeing all the different people who make Two Rivers Cortland what it is.

Thanks for spending part of your weekend with us. We’ll see you Sunday! 💙

Following Jesus has never been about admiration from a distance.

It's possible to agree with Jesus and never actually follow Him.
It's possible to know a lot about Jesus and still keep Him at arm's length.

The invitation Jesus gave ordinary men and women wasn't, "Learn more facts about Me."

It was, "Follow Me."

Discipleship isn't about collecting information. It's about allowing Jesus to shape every part of your life, one step at a time.
