Generosity isn’t something God asks from us only when there’s an offering, a campaign, or a need in front of us. It’s a way of life He wants to form in us. Scripture points us toward becoming people who are generous with the whole of our lives our time, our abilities, our resources, our attention, and our willingness to serve. Why? Because generosity reflects the heart of God. “God so loved that He gave.” So the question isn’t simply, “How much should I give?” It’s bigger than that: Am I becoming a generous person?

Open-handed with my time.
Open-handed with my gifts.
Open-handed with what God has entrusted to me.

It’s easy to believe someone is worth fighting for when their life is already coming back together.
Jesus didn’t wait for us to get there.
He meets people in addiction, failure, desperation, and the moments when everything has fallen apart. And when you know what it feels like to be rescued by that kind of grace, you can’t look at someone else who is struggling and decide they’re too far gone.
That’s why one person still matters. One overdose is too many. One person without hope is worth pursuing. One life is worth fighting for.
Jesus didn’t give up on us. We don’t get to give up on them.

People may know you by what happened. Jesus knows you by who you are becoming. Your failure is not your name. Your addiction is not your name. Your broken season is not your name.
God sees sons and daughters.

There are moments when you’re reminded just how powerful the Gospel really is.
Jesus still restores what addiction has broken. He still gives people a new identity, a new future, and the strength to take another step.
This Sunday, we got to see that up close through the work of the Hope Foundation of Binghamton and through the stories of residents whose lives are being rebuilt.
The Hope Homes provide the structure, support, and safe environment people need to recover. But at the center of it all is the hope we have in Jesus.
He is still changing lives.
He is still restoring families.
He is still making all things new.
We’re grateful to stand alongside the Hope Foundation and witness that transformation happening right here in our community. 💙

Your scars are part of your story. They just don’t get to write the ending.
Broken. Addicted. Rejected. Left behind. Those words may describe places you’ve been, but they don’t have to become the permanent definition of who you are.
That’s the hope of the Gospel: Jesus doesn’t simply help us manage the old story. He redeems it.
And the people who have been rescued become people who can turn around and reach for somebody else.
You may have a past. You may have scars.
But by the blood of Jesus, you’ve got another story.

A lot of our prayers are about what we need God to do for us.
Help me. Provide for me. Heal me. Open the door. And those are good prayers.
But there’s another question that can completely change the way you walk into your day:
God, what do You want to do through me today?
You don’t have to go across the world to live on mission. Your mission field might be your workplace, your neighborhood, the sidelines at your kid’s game, or the person you keep seeing every week.
God uses ordinary people who are willing to say yes. And He hasn’t just given us a mission, He’s given us His Spirit and His power to actually live it out.
Maybe the opportunity you’ve been waiting for is already standing right in front of you. Pasted text

People walking through the doors. Conversations in the lobby. A room worshiping Jesus together. People hungry for more of God.

This is church. This is community. And we’re grateful we get to be part of it. 🙌

You don’t have to see the whole road to take the next step.

A lot of us get stuck because we want clarity before obedience. We want the full plan, the outcome, the timeline, and some guarantee that it’s all going to work.

But faith often looks much simpler than that.

You may not know exactly how God is going to do it. You may not know how fast things will move. You may not know what the next season will look like.

You just need enough faith for the step in front of you.

Take the next step and trust God.
