Solidarity Summits are an initiative of UU the Vote, a program of Side With Love, the organizing strategy team of the Unitarian Universalist Association. These gatherings bring together Unitarian Universalists, people of faith across traditions, lay leaders, organizers, advocates, and community partners to strengthen regional networks, deepen relationships, and practice the kind of solidarity this moment demands. Please join us at the Tennessee Solidarity Summit September 18-20th in Memphis at a local church. The location will be sent after you register.
This moment calls us to build — and rebuild — our understanding of what it means spiritually to be neighbors and to engage in many forms of sacred community defense. Across faith traditions, we are increasingly called to respond to authoritarian violence with care, strategy, and coordination.
People of faith are builders. Grounded in our deepest values, we believe another world is possible, and that we are called to bring it into being through faithful action. This moment requires more than resistance; it requires building the systems that sustain collective thriving: networks of care, learning, nourishment, and belonging, especially as people, public spaces, and institutions come under attack.
