First Assembly of God A little bit about who we are...

We invite you to worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10:45am. Then on Wednesday we break into small groups for all ages.

Our praise and worship is expressive, Spirit-filled, with a mixture of traditional and contemporary songs or praise and worship. The Word of God is the centerpiece of the service and the Sunday sermons can be listend to on this site. We have a great "Kid's Church" for children under 12 and a nursery for young children and infants. "Aqua Viva" Spanish Ministries
The third Sunday of each month at 6

:30pm is a Spanish/English service directed by Bro Reuban Espinoza. The adults meet in the fellowship hall for a Bible study with the Pastor. In other buildings The Rising Youth & Young Adult Ministry ages 13 and up have a Bible Study. Children age 3-12 have M'Pact Girls and Royal Rangers groups. There is a nursery for those under 2 years old. That makes up what we call "Family Night" with some type of small group for everyone. Thes and other activities and ministries that we will gladly provide you with more information about. We are a growing church for all people as we trust in God's grace for our journey and to make dead ends into new beginnings!

Active Weather Pattern Next Week…

Our stretch of sunny and quiet weather is coming to an end soon. A few light elevated showers may develop tomorrow night, but most areas stay dry.

Better rain chances arrive Sunday night as thunderstorms develop along the dryline in West Texas and move into North Texas overnight. Expect scattered showers, lightning, and a few thunderstorms.

Monday marks the beginning of a more active pattern as a stronger disturbance approaches ahead of a cold front. Rain and storm chances increase to around 60%. Right now, the better severe weather threat appears to stay mainly Northwest of the metroplex.

Tuesday is the day we’ll be watching more closely. The front moves closer while instability increases across North Texas. A few stronger storms will be possible, along with heavy rainfall as deep Gulf moisture pushes north. Some areas could see very heavy downpours and localized flooding concerns.

Forecast confidence lowers by Wednesday depending on where the front ends up. It may push through North Texas, stall overhead, or remain just north of the area. Either way, daily rain chances currently look likely through much of next week as the second half of May turns much more unsettled. Lawns across North Texas should be looking pretty happy by the end of the month.
