University Catholic is a Christ-centered community for college students at Tennessee Tech, Volunteer State, and other colleges in the Cookeville-Upper Cumberland area. Thomas Aquinas Parish and the Diocese of Nashville, our mission is to “Propose Jesus Christ and Form His Disciples” through “Growing in Faith through Fellowship, Fun, and Formation.”

We host and attend many events throughout the we

ek aimed at strengthening the faith and discipleship of our members through the four Dimensions of Christian life: Apostolic, Human, Intellectual, and Spiritual. They include:
• Thursday Suppers at 6 pm in the Parish Hall (free home-cooked dinners and opportunities for large-group fellowship, guest speakers, catechesis, discussions, and other activities)
• Bible studies and small groups on Tech’s campus
• Worshipping at the 10:45 Sunday Mass together, in addition to Daily Mass and Latin Mass
• Serving the parish through altar serving, singing in the choir, being involved in other ministries such as the Knights of Columbus and the Daughters of Isabella, etc.
• Attending Adoration, Confession, and group Rosaries with each other
• Retreats (Awakening), pilgrimages (March for Life), and conferences (Men’s and Women’s conferences, SEEK) with University Catholic in Nashville
• Informal social gatherings

We are excited to announce that our next Thursday supper on April 9 will be a EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION on the Tennessee Tech campus! We also would like to invite all of the other UCat’s in the diocese of Nashville to join us for this witness of faith! Burgers and hotdogs will be provided!
