Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. -- Psalms 126:2

Isn’t it incredible that the Lord created humor and laughter? He can make us laugh and our hearts filled with joy. The Lord certainly has a good sense of humor since He created humor. He also makes us sing with joy. God is amazing. He’s done great things for us. If you haven’t experienced joy and laughter that comes from God, pray about it. Ask God to show You joy. Ask Him to bring laughter into your life. Keep praying for it, and it will come as you seek the Lord.

So today we pray... Father God, I want to feel Your joy. I want my eyes to crinkle with gladness, and my heart to swell with happiness. Joy like that comes from You. You can make me joyful in the hardest times. I have faith in You. Help me to spread Your joy to others by living for You in each day. I praise You, the God who created joy, laughter, and song. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
