You’ve faced moments where uncertainty made it tempting to turn around, give up, or go back to what was familiar - but God’s work is not finished just because the road became difficult. Perseverance means continuing in faith when discouragement, delay, and opposition try to convince you to stop moving forward.

Your circumstances may tell you the opportunity has passed, but Jesus’ response remains the same: “Do not be afraid; only believe.” Hold on through the waiting, refuse to quit in the middle, and remember that God can bring transformation in a moment.

The highest expression of freedom is not getting your way; it is using your freedom to serve someone else.

In 1 Corinthians 9, Paul shows us that real freedom is not selfish — it is surrendered. It is the willingness to lay down comfort, preference, and even rightful things for the sake of the Gospel.

Freedom without love becomes entitlement.
Freedom surrendered to Jesus becomes service.

May we be people who do not just protect our rights, but use our lives to reach others.

You have real rights, real freedoms, and real choices—but Scripture challenges what you do with them. Freedom was never meant to become an excuse for comfort, selfishness, or protecting what belongs to you. Paul’s example in 1 Corinthians 9 reveals a higher kind of freedom: the strength to surrender what you could claim for the sake of something greater.

Your calling is not completed by talent, passion, or even good intentions alone. The race requires discipline, surrender, and daily decisions nobody else sees. Learn to recognize what you may need to release, what you may be protecting, and what God is asking you to bring into alignment so you can finish well.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, we want to take a moment to honor and thank all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures in our church family. Thank you for your love, guidance, sacrifice, wisdom, and the countless ways you show up for your families every day.

We’re grateful for the men who lead, encourage, and point the next generation toward Jesus.

Enjoy some of our dads’ best (or worst 😉) dad jokes, and join us this Sunday as we celebrate the amazing fathers in our lives. Happy Father’s Day from The Bend! 💚

You were created for more than survival—you were created to carry the image of God, walk in fellowship with Him, and exercise the authority He entrusted to humanity. The conflict that began before Eden continued in the garden, where the enemy’s strategy was not just to introduce sin, but to distort identity, steal dominion, and separate mankind from the presence of God.

Recognize the pattern that still operates today: questioning God’s Word, misrepresenting His character, and offering counterfeit paths to fulfillment. From the first promise of a coming Savior in Genesis to the victory of the cross, God’s plan has always been restoration—recovering what was lost and crushing the power of the serpent through the Seed of the woman.

🚨 TONIGHT AT THE BEND | 6:30 PM 🚨

What if the spiritual world is far more organized, structured, and active than most believers realize?

Tonight we go much deeper.

We will examine Satan's rebellion, the various classifications of rebellious angels, their realms of authority, methods of operation, and their influence throughout history. We will explore where these beings operate, their dwelling places, and the biblical origins of what Scripture calls "demons."

This is not speculation. This is a serious, Scripture-based investigation into one of the most misunderstood subjects in the Bible.

If you have ever wondered:
- Who are the fallen angels?
- Are all demonic beings the same?
- How is the kingdom of darkness organized?
- Where did demons originate?

Tonight we will open the Scriptures and follow the evidence wherever it leads.

Bring your Bible, bring a notebook, and bring someone with you. The deeper the darkness is understood, the greater the glory of Christ's victory becomes.
