Moving Mountains through Christians in China

In China, a South African young man was radically transformed by Jesus from a same-sex relationship while living in Beijing. He met our missionary there, developed a relationship with him, led him to Christ, then discipled the young man. After leaving China to return home, he continued to share his radical change with family and friends, often traveling around South Africa to reach more people.
All over the world, nations are sending to the nations and hearing the good news that Jesus saves.

A Scare in the Skies, Please Pray

We had a bit of a scare this week when several Israeli planes flew over Beirut's airspace and broke the sound barrier, sending everyone into a bit of a panic. Things are currently very tense and will be like this, we're assuming, for the next fortnight. Nonetheless, we trust in God and His protection, and we trust in His timing and His plan.

The team is safe so far, and there is no imminent danger to anyone yet. We A are continuing our ministry as normally as possible. Currently, we are preparing videos that we will start posting in September. They are relevant to the situation and focus on the struggles of young people in Lebanon and the region.

Here are some prayer points.

Our team: People are scared and trying to protect their families, so pray that we can help be a support to them and our community.

Wisdom: Let us be guided by God, his plan for our lives, and what He has in store for us, and not by fear or anything that is not from Him.

Peace: That God may calm the hearts of leaders, experience His love and joy, and stop all violence and hatred.

Success: That we may continue to do God’s work in the Middle East through us so people may know Christ and experience His love.

There are many ways Missionary Care can serve and support our families serving stateside and worldwide, and every person who serves at BBMA Globalis an active participant in that care.

As I share about the ministry of Missionary Care, I often talk about how our care team is helping serve our missionary families. But who exactly is our care team? Well, all of us at BMA Global. Every individual serving through our missions ministry is on the care team.

GMA Camp 2024 is in the books, and it was an honor to be there to see what discipleship truly is. For 50 some odd years GMA has discipled girls with an emphasis on our missionaries. The result? MANY have served on the mission field. And when they pray for them, they mention them by name because they have studied them and know who and where they are.
