Last class til August!! Join us Wednesday night at 6pm to hear from two amazing ladies: April Bennett and Kathy Grissom.
April has been the wife of Ryan Bennett for nearly 19 years. They relocated from Missouri in July 2020 (right at the beginning of the pandemic)

They have been a part of CFBC since 2022. She is the Mom to two ornery and energetic boys - Aiden (just turned 14) and Alex (almost age 11).

April serves at Baptist Health Medical Center - Conway. She loves running, hiking, hanging with her boys, and traveling (typically to run 😆).

Kathy Grissom has been married to James for 48 years. They have 2 children, TJ and LeAnn, and enjoy 4 grandboys. James and Kathy have been at CFBC for 31 years. She enjoys gardening, canning and all kind of flowers. She also loves fishing - especially kayak fishing.

Here are their bios:
“I’m Debbie Hamilton, Rick’s wife for 30 years and a member of CFBC for 11. I am happiest when spending quiet time with God, or just hanging out with our three kids and six grand grands! We do really enjoy our friends. Rick and I are happily retired and love to travel, with the beach always calling our names! I enjoy growing African violets, kayaking, being outdoors, and trying my hand at artsy things. I love digging into God’s word. My testimony is that our compassionate Savior keeps rescuing, overcoming, and redeeming us. All my life He’s been faithful, in spite of me!”

Tiffeny Crow has been attending CFBC 21 years. Tiffeny has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor at Hendrix College for the past 12 years. She’s married to Zac Crow and has 3 kids- Caleb, Isaac and Lydia and a daughter in law Abby.

You don’t want to miss WEEK 2! Our speakers this week are Vickie Bailey McMichael and Jen Kendrick. Vickie and her husband, Joe have been at CFBC for two years. Born in Ft. Smith, Vickie attended college at Ole Miss and graduated from UCA with a Master of Education in Gifted and Talented. She has called Conway home for 37 years and during those years, she and her husband raised two daughters, Andrea Fournier and Laura Rettberg. Vickie served as a GT specialist at Ellen Smith, Julia Lee Moore, and finished her teaching career at Carl Stuart Middle School where she taught GT, Pre- AP Math and English. She loved being a classroom teacher for 28 years, had the privilege of working alongside amazing peers and developing friendships with her students, many of whom are members of this church. Vickie had the honor of being recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2005 and 2012. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking state and national parks, all things that can be planted and grown, and caring for two rescue donkeys, Esther and Lester. Jenifer Hill Kendrick was raised in Nashville, Arkansas but has proudly called Conway home since 1999. She has been an active member of First Baptist Church since moving to the community. She met her husband, Greg Kendrick, while attending Ouachita Baptist University, and together they are the proud parents of three children: Baker, Audrey, and Ellen.

Jenifer dedicated more than 25 years of her legal career to serving as an Attorney Ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children and families. She currently serves as General Counsel for the Conway Development Corporation and the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce, providing legal counsel and strategic guidance that support economic development and business growth throughout the community.

Jenifer has invested more than 20 years in the children’s and youth ministries at First Baptist Church and currently serves as a small group leader for seventh-grade girls. In their free time, she and Greg enjoy traveling and spending as much quality time with their family that they can get!

STARTS THIS WEEK! Our first speakers are Andrea Lennon and Lesley Lea. Andrea serves as the Director of Women at Lifeway Christian Resources. She is a 2004 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has written and published books, Bible Studies, and eBooks. Andrea and her husband, Jay joined Conway’s First in 2024. They are thankful for two amazing sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, a sweet granddaughter, and one very chill dog. Lesley and her husband Ancil, married for 36 years, have been at CFBC for 18 years. They have six children and seven grandchildren, with two more on the way.
Lesley will be the director of student outreach at Conway Christian where she has taught, coached and been counselor for the past 18 years. Join us as these amazing women share their stories! Wednesday night at 6pm in the cafe.
