We had a wonderful international feast tonight provided by Marise Thebaud Jacques who celebrated her birthday by bringing her family to the worship service and serving us dinner afterwards, delicious food she had prepared. Her grandson Dowans attends SCES kindergarten. Originally from Haiti, they speak French. We gave an English Bible to her and a couple to her nephew’s children who live in Atlanta. It was great getting to know them better and especially husband Jean Pierre.

Today we cleaned the baptistery! It’s been great to see two baptized in August so far, Ron River and Zyra Robinson.

We thank Apologetics Press for donating 100 Spanish Bibles and 100 NKJV English Bibles for our outreaches.

Today we had our first Bible Club with 23 registered and 19 present. We ran into a couple of snags with basketball tryouts being the same day and a few kids showing up who were not registered. Mary Ann, Barry, Lonnie, and Valerie assisted. Behind the scenes help came from Cathy who helped prepare the lesson plan. We are studying the Christian armor. Today was the Belt of Truth and the story of Jericho.
