💙 Who does God say you are?

1 John 3:1 reminds us of the incredible love the Father has given us: that we should be called children of God - and that is who we are!

The world may try to define us by what we do, what we achieve, or what others think of us. But our identity is not found in the world’s labels. It is found in our relationship with God.

When you know whose you are, you can rest in who you are.

Who are you, and whose voice are you listening to? 💙

Before Jesus began His public ministry, the Father affirmed His identity. And just like Jesus, we live in a world that constantly tries to tell us who we are - through our accomplishments, failures, relationships, and the opinions of others.

But our identity isn’t something we have to earn or prove. We find our true identity in who God says we are and in our relationship with Him.

When the world tells you who you should be, remember whose you are.

🌊 Swimming in Deep Waters

What does it truly mean that Jesus is fully God and fully human?

In this week’s bulletin article, our minister Nathan Diller explores the mystery of the incarnation and what Scripture teaches us about Jesus becoming one of us. He experienced human limitations, faced temptation, and endured suffering - not as God pretending to be human, but as the Son of God who truly became human.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus revealed His identity and showed us what it means to depend on God.

While we may not fully comprehend the depths of this mystery, Scripture helps us better understand the incredible truth of who Jesus is and what He did for us. ❤️

🎀 What a wonderful night of fun, fellowship, and a little Dolly Parton flair! 🎶

Our youth had the joy of hosting our annual Senior Citizens Banquet, and this year they brought a whole lot of fun with a Dolly Parton-inspired theme! From games and laughter to delicious food and great fellowship, it was a special evening celebrating some very special people in our church family. 💕

A huge thank you to our youth for serving, hosting, and making the evening so memorable. We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring generations together and celebrate the wisdom, love, and faith of those who have paved the way for us.

Y’all came for the banquet, but you left with a little more 9 to 5 joy! 🤠✨

Galatians 3:28 reminds us that in Christ, the labels that divide us no longer define us. Our backgrounds, status, differences, and circumstances don’t determine our worth - we belong to Christ, and we belong to one another.

The world may see differences. God sees His people.

Different stories. One Savior. One family. One in Christ.

🕊️ PEACE ISN’T PASSIVE. IT’S A CHOICE.

In our study of the Sermon on the Mount, we were reminded that being a peacemaker means more than avoiding conflict. It means choosing grace, pursuing reconciliation, and reflecting the heart of Christ - even when it’s hard.

In a world that’s quick to divide, let’s be people who bring peace. 🤍
