Midway Baptist Church was started in the summer of 1940,when a group of new converts and rededicated Christians began to burn with the desire to form their own church. The opening paragraph of Midway’s record book reads, “On June 30, 1940, the Midway Baptist Gospel Tabernacle was originated by a band of 53 members who love the Lord supremely.”

o grow and prosper due to the Lord’s generous blessings. Midway is a Southern Baptist Gospel Church, who believes in standing on the Word of God. Today, Midway continues to grow and prosper and desires to meet the needs of your family. We offer ministry to the whole family as well as individuals. We are a Bible believing, Great Commission Church. There is a place of service for you and your family here at Midway. Our motto is “Where everybody’s somebody and Christ is Lord”.

We invite you to join us tomorrow for Worship!

This Sunday we will have communion, offer baptism, and have our Fifth Sunday Night Singing. If you’re considering baptism, please contact Pastor Randall.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 am. At 11:00 am, we will have Communion and a special message, “Christ, Our Passover Lamb”, as we remember His great sacrifice and pure love for us.

On Sunday evening at 5:00 pm, the choir will practice. At 6:00 pm, we will have our Fifth Sunday Night Singing! Invite your family and friends for this great night of praise and worship. There will be no youth or children’s classes.
